They will use these efforts as a distraction and a means to promote their hatred, while destroying this country with their agenda. Beginning tomorrow they will own resposibility for all the unhindered damage they will do.

That is pretty much my opinion, too. Trump supporters have a lot to lose if they start anything, unlike the basement-dwelling Antifa losers.
For one thing we need not fight amongst ourselves, we need to stop pretending Trump will be President after 12 noon tomorrow and __________.
I do, but I need to pray more. Regardless of what evil people are planning, God is in charge.
I still wonder how many in the military will consider their oath and choose an alternative course of action. We may see an uprising led by true patriots. Time will tell.

The Trump supporters are the rule of law people. So, probably nothing. Realistically, what are we going to do? Try to take him back from the Federal Marshals? Will we hide him in the basement?
I am reminded of what eventually brought Hitler to power. Not that I’m comparing Trump to Hitler. The government of Germany, in what turned out to be an epic bad move, brought Hitler to trial. Hitler turned the trial into a vehicle to advance his political career.
Realizing this is a separate trial, if the Senate tries Trump, then Trump will occupy the news cycle for as long as the trial goes on. This will hobble the Senate while that happens and it will rob the Biden administration of what is generally a good period.
Incidentally, where is the Nobel Prize announcement? Since Obama got one for not being GWB, Biden should get one for not being Trump.
