After WW II, we never relied on anything from the Soviet Union. If anything, they came hat in hand when they had yet another unprecedented crop failure or when they sneaked in to steal technology.

On the other hand we have set up so we rely on China for cheap manufacturing and to lend back to us money we paid them for their cheap stuff so we can either buy more cheap stuff or to fund our spendthrift ways. They have become the ants while we are the grasshoppers - and it looks like summer is ending. Unfortunately the new grasshopper king is beholden to the ants.

Pompeo is getting ready to close his government account. Is the timing coincidental? Or is he just trying to document that he is on the right side of history? I have no idea.

The American farmer can win this war in 6 months. The only thing China needs from us is our corn and soybeans. They cannot feed themselves. The us ag companies must stop giving China access to our equipment and seed tech. The last bastion of hope for our nation rests on the backs of the American farmer. We love this country but don’t know how to organize.
