Odd. I don’t belong to any because the closest vet group to me is VFW. They sent me some literature. Turns out that since I served from 77-81, and no one shot at me, they don’t want me.
Screw ‘em.

So, twenty people out of that crowd participated in “riots”. Are they talking about them?

This is a joke as veteran’s groups are hard pressed for membership. Many around here, such as the American Legion and the V.F.W., alternate their activities because neither has the membership to do much on their own.

Does anyone have a best estimate of how many people actually went inside the Capitol building. I am willing to bet less than 100 people were inside.
Sure, there were people outside, but from watching live as it happened, it could not have been more than around 1,000 people on the steps and balconies.

Same here . . . some of them might have been set up as purposeful $$$ scams anyway. I donate to Veteran’s organizations in honor/memory of my parents who both were WWII Veterans. I hope someone has already done their homework for us. PS If Veteran members get expelled I hope they sue for reimbursement for all the years they paid membership dues.

True. It pains me to see it because my earliest memories involved playing with other kids at the VFW clubhouse while our parents were in meetings. But the younger vets are not interested in the same way and many posts have had to close or consolidate. My WWII vet dad was a life member of all of them and I’m only glad he is not still with us to see what they’ve done to the country he and his peers fought for.

Is military.com a left publication?
Also, a guy gets almost killed serving his country, the disabled American veterans is going to kick him out because he didn't follow their political program? What the heck was he fighting for? Was this rule extended for those that participated in antifa or BLM riots, or is it only for people of one political persuasion?

So Democrats can start Armed rebellions against America, creating their own Autonomous Republics, but Conservatives cannot protest after being waved into the capital? Who said life’s not fair?

One group, not “groups. “ The DAV screwed up my paperwork so bad a VA representative took pity on me and helped me through the process of resubmitting the paperwork. That was not his responsibility because my representative was the DAV. Normally he would have just sent me back to the DAV to refile the paperwork, but what they submitted was that bad.
A year later the VA came back and approved my application. The DAV sent me letter patting themselves on the back for assisting me with my application to the VA and getting approval. Really!? Some of their offices are good for what I hear, but not all. The State Office was supposed to review the request before it went in, that obviously never happened.

No S#!t Sherlock WTF is that for? The title didn't tell it and there was no excerpt, not even a single line. So I posted the name of the group instead of everyone having to go to the linked site.

The article was updated to make clear that they are only referring to those who committed criminal acts.
This sounds like nothing more than a stupid statement by the DAV that was made for political expediency.

You are already brainwashed. The capitol has a gallery, for God-forbid, non-elected people to observe their actions. Probably a lot of people that went in, as let in by the police, thought they would get an opportunity to watch and maybe be vocal, about, a stolen election and loss of democracy. It is called the people's house, but it is really now the elite ruling party's house. Now that they can steal elections without impunity, they will never give up power. That's what motivated many patriots to go in. Obama can pardon a capitol bomber, but forbid that patriots go to make a presence about a stolen election and the reality of our country now in the hands of a single party - which the founding father's feared most.
As Rush said, this is being deplored so vehemently because the fraudsters know it is the truth - the election was stolen.
