Longtime Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.) has joined a growing number of House Republicans in saying he plans to vote to impeach President Trump on Wednesday following a deadly riot by a mob of his supporters at the U.S. Capitol last week.
“Today the President characterized his inflammatory rhetoric at last Wednesday’s rally as ‘totally appropriate,’ and he expressed no regrets for last week’s violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol,” Upton said in a statement Tuesday.

It is an almost exact parallel to what needs to happen today. It is the model of what needs to occur in a situation perhaps even more dire than the 1850’s.
Go ahead, support the Mitch McConnell’s, Kevin McCarthy’s, the Liz Cheney’s, the Ben Sasse’s, they will manipulate you again and again. There are more than enough of us walking away that the protective cover for the Democrats and the Government Class, which is the only thing the Republican Party is, will be gone.

I used to opposed TERM LIMITS, but now I think they are more than needed.
We have them in Michigan and I think they are too short. I would be for 8 years for Representative and 2 terms as senator.
AND a ban from being a lobbiest for 5 years after leaving public office. OR better yet, just ban lobbying and corporate donations!
I would also like ALL congress critters to have to go auditing by 3rd parties to ensure they are not unduly profiting from their offices.
It will never happen, but one can dream.
The democrats are highly skilled, experienced criminals. They entice republicans to be traitors by a variety of means. They have undoubtedly been approaching republicans with a great variety of persuasions over the impeachment. Money, blackmail, threats, etc. And since the democrats will be picking future election winners, and will need some republicans in office for show, they can offer reelection as an incentive to turn on Trump.
WE had a revival already in Congress with the tea party how long before these bastards became the swamp remember Paul Ryan, Mia Love, and MANY that left because of Trump and LOST us the house because they refused to work with Trump REALLY you think doing that again is working NOT!! There has NEVER been a 3rd party with Trump’s following NEVER!!!
