Apple wants to block the Parler iPhone app from their app store for violation of the App Store rules. (Not promoting communist speech)

We won’t go into the fact that Twitter has child porn on it which is also in violation of Apple’s App Store rules but Apple never blocks them.

Apple can’t block the Parler WEBSITE.

This is why everyone needs to join me to go back to print. Actual print.

Underground basement rags like the ones in the 70s. Handed out through the mail, by hand, left on shelves.

Make it hard to get and people will want to see it.

“ That would be an antitrust violation.”

Yes, but with a communist/fascist government, anti-trust is a dead letter if the company is doing the bidding of the rulers.

🚨 CRITICAL MESSAGE🚨
Monopolist Apple is threatening to pull the Parler App from the App Store.
This is clearly an ideological decision, not a principled one. We are having a police state forced down our throats and the big-tech/big-govt symbiote is more than happy to crush free speech and any ideological opposition to the liberal agenda. Please spread the word and echo this post to spread the word about this destructive war on civil liberties!

Risky move for a company that has glass storefronts.

OK, that means they’re banned. Apple users will have to access by using the web.

We will not cave to pressure from anti-competitive actors! We will and always have enforced our rules against violence and illegal activity. But we WONT cave to politically motivated companies and those authoritarians who hate free speech!

What exactly would they do? Apple is reportedly considering banning the app, but they can’t stop people from accessing Parler through a browser. FR doesn’t have an app to my knowledge.

No you don’t. Even benevolent dictators have malevolent ones succeed them.

Stop using crApple products, unless you like the nanny state “walled garden” app store, and having your $1000 electronic blinkey blink being disposable due to their heavy handed anti-repair games.

It seems to me that:

1. Apple has no power to ban web access to a Parler.com.

2. Parler.com can provide the capability to download Parler.app

3. Apple can remove Parler.app from their Apps download only.

Isn’t this correct? They could slow Parler down but I don’t see how they could kill it.

That would be an antitrust violation.

Good luck. Biden, Kamala, Pelosi and Schumer now own the agency that will get to make that decision.

> Start suing now.

Why ?

SCOTUS already determined only the donor class (i.e. GoldmanSachs ) has standing.
