R.I.P. USA
Self - Very demoralized veteran ^ | 1/6/21 | Self

We have all lived to see the end of the American experiment. What a truly sad, sad time.

The promises, hopes, dreams, and especially our freedoms will soon be nothing more than past memories.

The sad truth is that by the time most people realize the evil they have enabled, it will be far too late.

I will have no sympathy nor offer any compassion or condolences to them when they discover the pain of their ignorance.

R.I.P. USA

We the People are now the resistance. We’ve got one hell of a fight to fight and cannot count on the “republican” losers to help. We’re on our own.

I am worried.

But I selfishly take comfort in a couple of small things.

1. My wife’s on Social Security and I’ll be going on it in a few years. I believe The Dems are not going to cut it. They’ll find a way to shore it up. GOP has too many rank and file members and officials (like Rick Perry) who denounce Social Security as a “Ponzi scheme”. Those people (many on Freerepublic) obviously don’t support it and the GOP that uses that “Ponzi” term can’t be trusted not to gut it - for example by raising the eligibility age to 69 or 70 - even though nobody will hire people in that age group, so this would deny social security to people who have no other income and no way to get employed

2. Right now my family could use that $2k stimulus that Trump supported but Mitch blocked. We’ve been hurt financially in ways that are directly due to the covid . The Dems say that passing the $2k which Mitch blocked will be their first order of business. We’ll see, but at least they don’t deride it as “socialist” - a term that makes no sense from a government that showers other countries with handouts.

3. Also, Biden said he would deliver the infrastructure program that Trump promised in 2016 but was blocked by Mitch and Paul Ryan. Our roads bridges and airports are crumbling, as candidate Trump said in 2016. If it takes Democrats to act on something like Trumps vision, I’ll take it

All that said, I fear what the Dems will do to undermine religious freedom, free speech, sanity and safety in our schools, the sovereignty of our borders, the security of our neighborhoods.

I’m not too concerned about huge tax increases, since Wall Street owns Biden and was his biggest contributor

Here is what we can forsee for the USA when Chuck Schumer becomes majority leader of Senate:

* Washington DC and Puerto Rico become US States giving the Democrats 4 additional senate seats. This assures them a permanent majority in the upper house.

* Packing of the Supreme Court. With the Senate controlled permanently by Democrats, you can be certain that there will be more Justices like Ginsburg in the Supreme Court

* Amnesty for millions of illegals, ensuring a permanent voting base for Democrats everywhere.

* Medicare for all ( including illegals who will qualify ). Remember, all Democrat candidates for President raised their hands when asked if illegals will be covered by healthcare.

* A return to the Obama foreign policy of appeasing Iran and distancing from Israel.

* A strengthened China, with more “foreign students” ( note the quotes ) accepted in our universities to spy and steal our technology.

The formalization of the New Green Deal. Fracking slowly banned. Expect INCREASES in oil and gas prices and more expenses for businesses to make their offices and premises more “green”.

* A federal mandate to make Covid-19 vaccination compulsory for “the good of the country”.

In other words, the United States of America that we used to know is gone.

The GOP is in the way and needs to die. RIP, GOP.

+1. Been saying this for a looonnnggg time. The GOP exists to make sure that conservatives are on the outside looking in. The establishment types will never give up control of the party, so they have to be bypassed at this point.

Care to explain how a new party will work when the Uniparty has vote fraud capabilities that turns a landslide against them, into their win?

what good is a new party when we’ll never win due to the above?

No, secession is a good idea regardless. The USA is too big and fractured to remain a single political entity. The idea is ridiculous and we are seeing it play out.

yup. State secession will probably happen again, so at this point they’re going to attempt to throw us into Camps and we’re going to have to shoot back

Well, that kinda puts you in the camp of the LOSERTARIANS who kept Perdue from getting over 50% in the November general election.

Now is NOT the time to blackpill.

We’ll see what the GOP does tomorrow - but the US is NOT DEAD.

The GOP - dead, and good riddance - but tomorrow starts the real revolution where we take this country back - with a new party.

Twice in the twentieth century, Democrats got us embroiled in shooting wars against the very form of government they now are imposing upon us.

What a waste of American valor.

The America First Party would attract 70 million MAGA supporters plus 40-50 million sideline citizens who sit out elections. They hate globalism and never had a party to get behind. This would be enough to overcome the fraud.

True. But here’s the problem in one word: money. The old GOP elitists will still be able to attract the big money from the lobbyists and the corporations. So they will survive. End result? The old GOP and any new Conservative party will split the vote. Democrats will rule forever.

And no, I sure don’t have a solution to that.

In the case of secession, they will claim that it is unconstitutional. There is no constitution. The SCOTUS made sure of that.

If there's no more constitution, then secession can't be unconstitutional. We need to use their own "logic" against them.

Good nightmarish list. You should put, as first on the list, elimination of the 60 vote requirement for closure in the Senate.

No. Not at all. Trump did a great job and actually won the election. The deep state, corrupt media, and dishonest politicians on both sides stole the election from the American People.

More like a huge cabal has been in charge for too long. Oust them and their illusory support on the street disappears too due to lack of funding.

The GOP Senate had 1,460 days to subpoena one of three Bidens.

They tried to thread the needle and oust Trump.

We need peeps that care about America First and American workers.

I can no longer fly the American flag as to not trample and offend the legacy of those many people who died in the service of our country in the past. I will retire it with honor and dignity as a reminder of what once was. I wonder what the new flag should be? Maybe a mixture of the UN, Chinese CCP flags and some crooked red and white stripes with a few spastic stars. Our country is gone. It will be interesting to watch how they try to spin it as if everything is alright. It’s pathetic that the Democrats and the GOP think they have gotten away with this and we don’t see what has happened. Our eyes are wide open. They are naked in broad daylight and it’s pretty frickin’ ugly.
