Please don't misunderstand, I'm not a 'cut and run' type.
I have always been a fighter--but we must be strategic in our warrior ways, especially when we've allowed our adversaries, that want to erase us and re-engineer us--or even disappear us!--to have gained such a strong foothold within our states, our towns, our schools, our homes--and worst--in our children's minds ( aka, the FUTURE).
It was Lenin that said I believe, something to the effect of, "You get the youth, you get the future". Hitler applied this totally as the Hitler Youth were so brainwashed they marched like single-threaded pod people ALL FOR THE STATE and their own demise.
So I'm also a pragmatic person.
Thoughts on best regions, states, areas, etc in US under current trends (next 5-8 years)? Where conservatives can expect baseline civil rights and opportunity, adequate safety, basically a reasonable 'life' where we coalesce and restrengthen?
Sorry for the gloomy tone, maybe today and tomorrow, with presentation of specific fraud on the floor of congress (FRAUD THAT FULLY 50% OF AMERICANS HAVE NEVER EVEN SEEN--HAVING BEEN TOLD BY CRIMINAL MASS MEDIA, RELENTLESSLY, MONOTONOUSLY, THAT ALL CLAIMS OF FRAUD ARE 'BASELESS'.) will give a glimmer of positivity --in the meantime--resilience requires thinking across multiple scenarios.
Thanks.
I’d like to say Texas, but we’re on the cusp of being blue due to transplants.
This isn’t news.
What made you think it was?
Wyoming, Alaska, Oklahoma, the Dakotas.
Picking places where the weather is inhospitable is a natural check on mass migration of people who already peed in their old pool.
The moon or Antarctica.
I suggest a state with a coastline. Yiu may need an independent state and a port.
Worst case scenario, but one has to be prepped for anything.
Don’t apologize. I have been having exactly the sam thoughts. My daughters and I have been exploring the “where would we go” discussion for a while. While I’m in Texas, my oldest is in WA. We have thought about SD, ND, UT. I’m curious to see the thoughts of others on this too.
best to stand your ground here in Texas. Because as Texas goes, so goes America.
I live in SC low country. It is a very conservative state. Low taxes, low energy costs, gun friendly, great beaches and the southern culture is warm and friendly. I would recommend that you consider it as conservative redoubt.
Left the Jersey shore area and retired in Southwest Florida. Solid red. I’m in Lee County. Great place to retire.
Hobe Sound, FL
FINALLY . . . . . someone with common sense.
The American Redoubt? (Idaho +)
SurvivalBlog’s News From The American Redoubt
I moved from Seattle to rural Kentucky a little over 9 yars ago. I have two streams on my property, chickens, and can get cattle, goats and sheep cheap if the need arises. The place came with a small, but brand new and well built house (not a manufactured home or mobile home). Property taxes on the whole thing including a 40x60 barn are less than $250 a year. There is lots of fishing around here and if need be I can build a wind driven power turbine using one or more auto alternators and some deep cells if it actually comes to that. And lots of critters to eat if it comes to that. Lots of the indigenous flora is also edible.
The climate is relatively mild as well. The temps rarely get into the teens, and the cold part of winter is only a couple of months long.
Moving here was the best move I ever made.
Try and build networks within your own local community - of trusted friends, neighbors, people who believe as you do, people who can share their skills. You may need each other before too long
Think of the Christians in the Ancient Rome.
They have NOT gained a strong foothold. They LOST the election in a LANDSLIDE. It is only through FRAUD that they will hold power. The way we must redress it is to IMMEDIATELY begin RECALL efforts against RINO traitors.
well I dont so much care if you ARE the cut n run type as long as you happen to “Rebuild” in an area I would like to migrate to in the winters from Michigan.
Preferbly the gulf coast of florida would be my suggestion, and with it I will offer my resume for Total Interior Conctruction!! Commercial and Residential!!
I wanna make the move as well, but lack contacts in the field down there!! lol... js...
Just checked, appears that Humblegunner’s account has been suspended. Not seeing what he does as deserving of suspension. Annoying, yes. Suspension, no.
Actually, we've closed to outsiders.
No! Wait! We moved! We're now 100 miles east of Boston.
Come on up! The water's fine!
