A few months after I had moved back to Texas from California I went to some local event, and there was some people trying to get a petition signed to charge for and do away with plastic bags. I told them I had just escaped from that insanity in California, so no. I also informed them that we used to use paper bags which are more environmentally sound, but the environmentalists did away with that. I told them I at least re-use mine. I noticed they put up recycling boxes for plastic bags at grocery stores, but most recycled plastic ends up in the Pacific ocean,as long as the people feel moral and good, that’s what counts.

What matters is how those issues are addressed in Impeachment. Sorry I didn’t make that clear.
With the handful of loyal American Senators among the Rs Mitch should have a hard time getting unanimous consent agreements through them. If they fall easily in line though that’s a very, very bad sign.

I still haven’t figured out how they can convict after leaving office; that’s the whole intent of impeachment. Removal from office.
I understand why they want to move forward with it, so he can’t be elected again. I just don’t see how it stands. Stupid question with our Supreme Court, I guess.
Being a Senator or representative should not be a career. As it is right now, they only think of their political future.

Thank goodness her shop is nowhere near me. When I was working one of the office workers was a wonderful baker. So we paid her instead of a store for occasion goodies. My birthday was always cheesecake, solo good. Everything was good. We all told her we’d invest if she ever wanted to open a bakery.
