I read that. If that were the case, I believe Trump would have disavowed it long ago.
I went to Google maps and put the little man on both sides (Supreme Court side which I think is east and the Washington Monument/Mall side which I think is west).
Looks to me like it’s the west (Washington Monument) side. I’m basing it on the way the steps he’s standing on appear to be curved, and the flat area behind him has a grate/drainage channel, which is on the west side. Plus the bit of stairs going towards the building that we can see appear to have various levels. There’s no curved steps on the east side that I can tell, and the steps going into the Capitol on the east are straight up.
Wish that scaffolding wasn’t there!

Some of the ladies that I go on church retreat with quilt and have some pretty elaborate set ups....space wise.
The farthest I ever got with quilting was a strip quilt. I’ve started a couple more, but....haven’t finished them 😬
