Sadly, while social justice has the right idea, it is not Christianity and has no value in saving a soul. Taking care of the poor and widows is a good work and should follow a regenerative soul. It is not the exclusive pervue of Christians. I know many heathens who visit the sick, give to food banks, etc.
The Gospel of Jesus is recognizing that you, as well as every individual, is a sinner. That means we have all fallen short of God’s righteousness. No one measures up.
Jesus Christ is God’s provision for our sinful lives. By having His righteous stand in between us and God’s wrath towards our sin, we can then be recognized as holy. It is what happens when a judge says, “yes, this kid is guilty. But I will pay my son’s fine for him. Go, son, and start obeying the law.” The kid didn’t measure up. Someone else paid the penalty in his place.
Third, we must individually accept Christ’s work on our behalf. I have studied to a small extent George Washington. I know many things about him. But I have never met him. I have met some influential people. I have their emails. I can interact directly with them.
That is what the Gospel is about. It is the enabling of a sinful human with a God who loves them. Doing good works will not help with that.

Maybe some of these world leaders are not quite as interested in one world government as big tech would want us to believe. Maybe these world leaders have realized that it will be big tech in charge of everything, not the utopian leaders that they had been thinking about before. Also, if big tech could do this to President Trump, the President of the United States, just think what they can do to the president of a much smaller, less powerful country.
Excellent post. Lots of thoughts. Wondering if the lock downs there is for their safety. They expect massive riots? They want to protect our innocent Americans. Razor wire isn’t for us. It’s for terrorist. My thoughts.

Ok, I know this is all speculation, but some believe there is significance to it. A few days ago Sec. Pompeo was posting every hour on the hour like clockwork. Then the past few days his posts have been every 30 minutes to the minute. Today, he posting nearly every 15 minutes.
Some think it could be a countdown, I don’t know, but I am putting here as something to watch.

If I ever did take up quilting, I’ve always loved the patchwork quilts. Something about the different looks you can get with color and pattern placement with the same pieces just pleases me.
