I’m feeling kind of despondent this morning. I don’t like living in fascist America. All our freedoms are gone. Seemingly overnight.

FORT DRUM, N.Y. (WWNY) - There’s word that Vice President Mike Pence is coming to Fort Drum this weekend.
North country congresswoman Elise Stefanik said in a statement Wednesday night that she will join Pence “to thank soldiers and their families” Sunday.
“It is an honor to welcome Vice President Pence to our district to express the Trump Administration’s appreciation for our selfless military community.,” Stefanik said.
“”As the chief advocate for Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division, I express my sincere gratitude to Vice President Pence and the entire Trump Administration for their unwavering commitment over the past four years to rebuild America’s military readiness and support the brave men and women who proudly serve.
A press release from the White House Office of the Vice President said Pence’s wife, Karen, will accompany him on Sunday’s trip.
According to the news release, Pence will deliver remarks to 10th Mountain Division soldiers, many of whom have recently returned from Afghanistan.
Pence is expected to spend a couple of hours at Fort Drum in the late afternoon.
Looks like an armed escort to the impeachment hearing to me.

I agree with the whole statement, especially the last line. The Dims did everything possible to destroy Trump, his admin & his agenda. And will continue to do so. I believe there are still open positions never filled because Schumer delayed confirmations. Anybody going along with Biden's agenda should be ousted. Of course, that would pretty much mean voting for a R, which we have vowed not to do, as I mentioned yesterday - our dilema.
Varney was just discussing Biden is pushing for health care for illegal aliens & the comeback of the healthcare individual mandate. The mandate alone will cost average of $600 per adult & will have a huge increase if illegals are included.

This has been bothering me. May have misunderstood some posts in the confusion around Jan 6.chaos. The young woman killed was supposed to have been a 19 year veteran of military. Is that right? Don’t most serve twenty years to meet the requirements for a full pension? Why retire a year before full pension?
