I think we speak two different languages in the country today and there is no hope of communicating. Unity to the left means that the right totally capitulates to the left. Unity to the right means finding common ground as a starting point. Bipartisan to comrade pelosi means dem control of both houses of congress. Bipartisan to conservatives means both dems and reps agree. Years ago, when asked if he was willing to work with republicans, barney franks said absolutely, if they come over to his position.

Well, hillary hired thugs to beat up Trump supporters leaving rallies during the primaries 4 years ago, then both dems and repubs blamed Trump for being divisive. Worked then, worked now.

I am to the point where I think all congressional activity is for show. Like WWF. One congressman gets to stand firm, another gets to take the opposite position. I think it is all theater and a sham show to make the public believe they are actually taking considered positions that matter. It is all theater.
