University of Dallas student denied internship solely for being white
JACKSON WALKER - UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN MADISON âąJANUARY 11, 2021
FTA
A female student at the University of Dallas has recently come forward with her story after being rejected from a summer internship opportunity due to being white.
âItâs not like I was underqualified or anything, I met everything else,â said the student, who asked to remain anonymous so that her future career in the finance field is not jeopardized.
âI had the right major, I had the right GPA, I was the right year in college,â she said, âbut I was white so they wouldnât help me.â
The internship in question was offered by Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, a professional development organization with ties to major financial corporations such as CitiBank, IBM and Goldman Sachs. It was advertised as the âSEO Career 2021 Paid Summer Internshipâ and the description was for a financial position.
In its emailed rejection statement to the student, a copy of which was obtained by The College Fix, SEO outlined the reason for its rejection.
âThank you for your interest in SEO Career! Unfortunately, you are not eligible for the program. SEO Career targets Black, Hispanic, and Native American undergraduates, who are underrepresented in the careers they seek,â reads the rejection statement the student received.
The letter then goes on to suggest other ways to develop her career instead of interning for the company, such as making a LinkedIn account and attending career fairs.

DELTA Airlines Boots Two Women For Private Conversation About Trump
VIDEO HERE: https://gellerreport.com/2021/01/delta-boots-passengers-4-private-conversation.html/
Delta airlines ejected two people for having a private conversation in which they expressed support for Trump.
I want President Trump to start or promote new America first media: cable, Internet, social Media, etc. I also want him to promote the start of a new party. There is no conservative Republican party. There is just a Uniparty.
What happened on Wednesday at the capital building was not a MAGA rally. It was a very disorganized (unfortunately) protest. President Trump was not even there.
Thank you. Plumbers just arrived. Will eat while I watch them unload.
Good morning, LF.
Is it cold weather in your neck of the woods, today?
Weâre having a chilly day, so Iâm getting ready to make a ham and bean soup, in the crockpot.
Iâll make a pan of cornbread, later.
Two or more AMEN to all your prayers
Good morning, very cold! May get a little snow today. I dread barn chores this morning đ©
But your kids will be happy to see you BAaaaaaa
IMO the crime and corruption has been there. Itâs just now being exposed. âdrug into the lightâ is the only way we could rid ourselves of it. We were for the most part, a nation in denial. The exposure is more painful then the cure.
Have check-up this morning so all I can do is stare at the picture. But soon-!!!!!
Delta needs to be made to provide service. We resolved this with that baker and the wedding cake for the gay couple. Sorry Delta, #BakeTheCake.
Morning, Jane.
Thank you for the prayers, must be working, feeling much better.
Yesterday was so lazy, got things to do today, no time to feel sick. LOL
Good morning, Jane.
Saw there was snow in Waco—did you get some?
First Lady Melania Trump: Our Path Forward
Melania Trump First Lady January 11, 2021
FTA
Like all of you, I have reflected on the past year and how the invisible enemy, Covid-19, swept across our beautiful country. All Nations have experienced the loss of loved ones, economic pain, and the negative impacts of isolation.
As your First Lady, it has been inspiring to witness firsthand what the people of our great Nation will do for one another, especially when we are at our most vulnerable.
With nearly every experience I have had, I found myself carrying many individualâs stories home with me in my heart.
Most recently, my heart goes out to: Air Force Veteran, Ashli Babbit, Benjamin Philips, Kevin Greeson, Rosanne Boyland, and Capitol Police Officers, Brian Sicknick and Howard Liebengood. I pray for their families comfort and strength during this difficult time.
I am disappointed and disheartened with what happened last week. I find it shameful that surrounding these tragic events there has been salacious gossip, unwarranted personal attacks, and false misleading accusations on me â from people who are looking to be relevant and have an agenda. This time is solely about healing our country and its citizens. It should not be used for personal gain.
Our Nation must heal in a civil manner. Make no mistake about it, I absolutely condemn the violence that has occurred on our Nationâs Capitol. Violence is never acceptable.
As an American, I am proud of our freedom to express our viewpoints without persecution. It is one of the paramount ideals which America is fundamentally built on. Many have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect that right. With that in mind, I would like to call on the citizens of this country to take a moment, pause, and look at things from all perspectives.
I implore people to stop the violence, never make assumptions based on the color of a personâs skin or use differing political ideologies as a basis for aggression and viciousness. We must listen to one another, focus on what unites us, and rise above what divides us.
It is inspiring to see that so many have found a passion and enthusiasm in participating in an election, but we must not allow that passion to turn to violence. Our path forward is to come together, find our commonalities, and be the kind and strong people that I know we are.
Our countryâs strength and character have revealed themselves in the communities that have been impacted by natural disasters and throughout this terrible pandemic that has affected all of us. The common thread in all of these challenging situations is Americanâs unwavering resolve to help one another. Your compassion has shown the true spirit of our country.
As I said over the summer, it is these defining moments that we will look back and tell our grandchildren that through empathy, strength, and determination, we were able to restore the promise of our future. Each of you are the backbone of this country. You are the people who continue to make the United States of America what it is, and who have the incredible responsibility of preparing our future generations to leave everything better than they found it.
It has been the honor of my lifetime to serve as your First Lady. I want to thank the millions of Americans who supported my husband and me over the past 4 years and shown the incredible impact of the American spirit. I am grateful to you all for letting me serve you on platforms which are dear to me.
Most importantly, I ask for healing, grace, understanding, and peace for our great Nation.
Every day let us remember that we are one Nation under God. God bless you all and God bless the United States of America.
Sincerely,
Melania Trump
