I can’t give a source for for what I’m about to tweet but President Trump has signed the Insurrection Act and departed Washington with Melania in the smaller AIR FORCE TWO size jet. It had a fighter jet escort and disappeared off radar within 10 minutes of takeoff. Stay tuned.

The air traffic hold over DC has ended at Reagan International Airport so flights are able to land and take off.

I’m guessing he’s turned the country over to the military. I hope.

Sorry to be so confused, what exactly does the insurrection act do? Just allow the president to deploy troops within the US? I guess if the left is calling the events of 1/6 an insurrection, then even for them, the insurrection act must be the way to go?
