So, I checked out thedonald.win after someone referred me to it on here hoping to spread a message of unity and conservatism but jeeez... All I got was abuse and fighting.
Are they children? Younger people?
F this, F that in comments to me. The don't like Rand much. Heck, I don't think they like anyone.
I know this is a difficult time but I tried to reach out and point out we're on the same side but it falls on deaf ears. I like FreeRepublic because it is a more mature place. Yes there are heated debates but I have never seen this place descend into what that thedonald forum has...
I did manage to get a "PARDON SNOWDEN" story nearly 600 upvotes so I was particularly happy about that despite all the hate and nonsense.
Sure there are good people there no doubt, just that I didn't feel very welcome which is a shame and I think hurts the cause more than anything.

I have notice a “Coordinated pattern” recently.
random NEW person at donald dot win will posts a link, opinion etc
that is always negative against the right.
(Newbies are recognised by all with a “handshake icon” under their
post signifying the post is from a newbie or rando)
THEN, 2nd Newbie appears and “totally agrees” in the comments
with the post in question. Its been noticed that that do this to steer the
opinion/comments in one direction, to support the original post
when ya notice this, the post and comments themselves “GLOW”
and ya kinda pick it up right away. For those of us who have been lurking or posting on FR long enough, they are kinda easy to pick out in the comments/posts on here as well.
So again, (may I ask as the young kids say)

I took his handle to mean Ayn Rand fan. He didn't pick Paulfan for a name. After all, she has a great number more fans than Rand Paul and Rand Paul fans wouldn't actually call themselves that.

And then there's just inside jokes like things that go together:

Anybody know the actual URL number? That is how I get to Free Republic by the way. The URL address for Free Republic is https://45.79.56.181/tag/*/index in case the enemy messes with pointers to this site.
They made a new domain - it is now patriots.win .. partial rebranding, partial rogue mod that owned the domain. It sucks but I kind of like the new direction (same as before, just more focused on the “movement” vs just Trump the man)
