The Senate Finance Committee just released a report saying that Obama knowingly financed Al Qaeda, through an organization known as the Islamic Relief Agency (ISRA), through World Vision (read: CIA), backed by a massive grant from USAID, and later with approval from the Obama State Department.

I’m not sure where they are getting this idea from. SCOTUS has the discretion to hear (or not to hear) cases that are appealed from lower courts. The best shot at getting SCOTUS to hear a case is when SCOTUS has original jurisdiction (not appellate), like with the Texas case.

SCOTUS has original jurisdiction in all cases in which a state is a party, and in cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls.
