People who are paying attention already know that for 99% (plus) of those who contract the virus have mild symptoms...or no symptoms. And members of the 1% who are at real risk have been clearly identified...people over a certain age (65-70),those living in nursing homes and those with certain pre-existing conditions.

I work in hospitals and they’re full of COVID patients from the Thanksgiving surge. More people together, more COVID.

The mortality rate is between 1-2%, has gotten somewhat lower with the new treatments.

If there’s a second Christmas/New Year’s surge, it will break many hospitals. They won’t be available to new patients with things like heart attacks and strokes.

This is a real problem. Call me fake news if you’d like, but to say we should ignore it and not physically separate if we’re able to ignores reality.
