Just wondering if any of my fellow Freepers are, like me, spending Christmas Eve solo.
Unlike previous years, however, I'm not quite alone, as I am now sharing my home with a two year old Greyhound I adopted last Spring.
Other than he and I, it's a cozy, quiet, peaceful and solo Christmas Eve. How about everyone else?
Unless my mother outlives me, I will more than likely be in the same boat some day. I have a bunch of cousins, 2nd cousins and even a 3rd cousin but no one is really close.
I am alone in SW Florida. I moved here in April and love living here. My kids are in KC. I went there for Thanksgiving, caught covid and finally made it home this past weekend.
Just got home from Christmas Eve services. Also, celebrating my 59th birthday today.
Me and my cat are enjoying each other....its just another day here is my peaceful and quiet home.
Happy Birthday!
Wife will be home this evening, kid with GF. For now it’s just me and Rufus and the lizard
My honey is snoring on the couch so it’s me and my Stella😹hanging out.....

No pities or sorries, please.
My Birthday was last Friday.
My Mother’s birthday was Christmas Day - Died 25 years ago
My Grandmother’s birthday was New Year’s Day - Died eight years ago.
My Wife’s birthday was Jan. 8th - Died three years ago.
I am good and making the best of things.
This year for the first time in history...because on Christmas Eve I am always with my moms side of the family and we would all be eating the 7 fishes now. This year it is just me, the bf, and our dog and I could not be more content. Merry Christmas!
Just me up here tonight.....unless I count my Deer pals with their noses up against my windows right now looking for their treats!
Thank you and God bless you Stingray51.
Merry Christmas!
Happy Birthday!!
Merry Christmas!
Alone tonight but headed to girlfriends house with her family for next two days. We met in early March - Love in the time of Covid.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Have my wife, some of the kids, our pets, a herd of elk outside and I feel real lonely as both of my parents passed away this year. I know this happens...but it just kinda hit hard tonight.
When you are with your fellow FReepers, you are never alone.
Annoyed, sometimes, but...never alone!!
A Merry Christmas to you, FRiends...
Heheheheh, especially the bed...:)
I am alone but have much to be grateful for . . .
Yesterday, my cousins brought me a crab cake dinner, a shirt in honor of their new family farm brewery and an adorable card featuring a deer, a raccoon, a squirrel, a fox and a few birds.
This weekend, my IT nephew plans to install a new Windows 10 computer for me because my current Vista no longer receives updates and my ISP Comcast is ending their agreement with Norton Anti-Virus (my PC isn’t compatible with the new anti-virus program recommended and offered free by Xfinity).
Also, thankful for being able to share my comments and thoughts with my Freeper Family.
Praying for a magical, miraculously beginning of 2021 when hopefully history will be made—and President Trump will finally beat the odds (January 6th) and celebrate his just second inauguration!!
Same here, not counting the three house cats and one feral in house-training.
