“kwer-sa-tin”

Those first two syllables match the Italian pronunciation of the fantastic Montepluciano D’Abruzzo wine from the vintner Quercio.

A fine Adriatic vintage.
I used to buy it by the case.
For those who like a medium-dry full body red wine, this is a great recomm.
The grape varietal “montelpuciano”, along with “sangoivese” are typically used for high end chianti inside of Italy.
Never outside.
Bags, here I agree with the shill on a non-shillable topic.

Quercitin.

https://www.howtopronounce.com/quercetin

Quercetin is a flavonoid widely distributed in nature.[2] The name has been used since 1857, and is derived from quercetum (oak forest), after the oak genus Quercus.[3][4] It is a naturally occurring polar auxin transport inhibitor.[5]

Quercetin is one of the most abundant dietary flavonoids,[2][6] with an average daily consumptio

Quercus Ltn. Oak. We get the word Cork from Quercus, the cork oak that provides cork stoppers for bottles of Wine.

“Quercio” is probably Italian for oak.

Chances are that no oaks were killed in bottling in any wine I drink because it probably came in a box! (Boxes are made from popler or something like that.)

Sliding back to the Q thread.
