What are your favorite Christmas movies? Please include heartwarming family-friendly movies even if they are not specifically Christmas-oriented.
I would include a recent classic, Christmas Oranges, and favorites from better eras like The Bishop's Wife, Christmas in Connecticut, Miracle on 34th Street, A Christmas Carol, Its A Wonderful Life, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Frosty The Snowman, and A Charlie Brown Christmas.
What would you add to that list?

In the same vein as Die Hard:
The Long Kiss Goodnight—Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson kick some ass.
Reindeer Games—Ben Affleck and Charlize Theron kick some ass (and Charlize shows off a bit of hers).
A Midnight Clear—A WWII film with a great young ensemble cast.
A couple of years ago my wife took me to Cleveland for my birthday. While a weekend in Cleveland might not be on everyone’s bucket list, I got to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and tour the actual house where A Christmas Story was filmed. And yes, they do have the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window.

Four Christmases is pretty funny but Die Hard for the win.

Thank you.
Don’t even care if Bruce Willis says it isn’t a Christmas movie. It is in my house.

Yes, The Lemon Drop Kid (1951). Thanks for reminding me. Pure Damon Runyan fun! With Bob Hope as "The Kid" with Marilyn Maxwell as Brainy Baxter. My late mother loved the song introduced in that movie: "Silver Bells".
