On a Thursday in August in Louisville, months before the 2020 election, a parade of cars filled with Kentucky Teamster representatives and labor groups, showed their fury at Mitch McConnell’s constant blocking of critical COVID aid. They drove by McConnell’s office raucously honking and bearing signs saying “Mitch better have my money.”
In 2017, a Public Policy Polling Survey asked Kentuckians, “Do you approve or disapprove of Senator Mitch McConnell’s job performance?” Only 18% approved. He clawed his rating back up to 39% on the eve of the election.
So, what exactly drove these angry Kentuckians to re-elect Mitch McConnell with a 19-point advantage over opponent Amy McGrath—57.8% to 38.2%?
Even as Republicans across the country still insist that the election was rife with fraudulent Democratic votes, no one’s asking how McConnell managed one of the most lopsided landslides of the Nov. 3 election. They should. An investigation of Kentucky voting results by DCReport raises significant questions about the vote tallies in McConnell’s state.
• McConnell racked up huge vote leads in traditionally Democratic strongholds, including counties that he had never before carried.
• There were wide, unexplained discrepancies between the vote counts for presidential candidates and down-ballot candidates.
• Significant anomalies exist in the state’s voter records. Forty percent of the state’s counties carry more voters on their rolls than voting-age citizens.
• Kentucky and many other states using vote tabulation machines made by Election Systems & Software all reported down-ballot race results at significant odds with pre-election polls.

looks like Mitch isn’t going to be able to hold off PDJT;s inaugural after all

Sounds like a conspiracy theory.
I thought those were bad?
“.there was no cheating needed in that race”
and you KNOW this how?
Nonsense. This fool is quoting a fake poll from a corrupt Dem outfit, PPP, to claim ballot fraud, and you think there is "fraud on both sides"? On what planet is that?
I would not doubt the Republicans also have been cheating in elections.
That might be a reason the Republicans want the 2020 Election Fiasco to be swept under the rug as soon as possible.
When Kansas is denied the right to ask for citizenship documents when a person registers to vote, we should all consider that to be a very large red flag.
I suspect we have millions of non-citizens registered to vote and have been voting for years for Republicans and for Democrats.
Amy McGrath got a higher percentage of the vote than Joe Biden did in Kentucky. Amy McGrath won exactly 3 of Kentucky’s 120 counties. Biden only won 2.
As is the opponent. Be kinda stupid to trade the Senate majority leader for a noob.
We need military tribunals.
KY only has one Democrat elected to a statewide office, the woman running against McConnell ran last time and McConnell beat her then badly, she barely won her primary and was for the green new deal in a state that mines coal...
It was a no-brainer, McConnell is like Lindsay Graham, he’s terrible but superior to the alternative...
Like the KY Senate Seat was never in doubt....that’s how I know.
I would be all for allowing an audit of McConnell’s race in Kentucky if the Dems were equally as accommodating elsewhere.
But, since they’re, not, meh.
Take a chill pill and relax...
She is claiming fraud...
You admit it yourself “to claim ballot fraud”, it’s a BS charge but if she wants to claim fraud in McConnell’s win
By default that would be “fraud on both sides”.
A fun read!
Wouldn’t surprise me a bit.
Be funny if all sides joined and everyone demanded fair, provable elections.
Well, everyone except for our politicians...
The reason Kentuckians vote for Mitch is because the Democrats are communist.. The voter says to self I can’t vote for a communist!!!He is the lesser of two evils!
Most of the people I know who live in KY, Dem and Republican, would have answered disapproval and have said they voted for him.
“””Be funny if all sides joined and everyone demanded fair, provable elections.”””
Yes, trustworthy elections would be nice in the land of the free and home of the brave.
There has to be a reason politicians and the courts do not want to take on this task.
I do remember that Trump tried to clean up the election process very early in his term and that effort went nowhere.
We have to ask why.
The tinfoil hat crowd will say that Mitch was the beneficiary of the Dominion voting algorithms as a down payment for running interference into 2020 election fraud.
R or D, swamp creatures look after their own first.
LOL - whatever you think of McConnell, he is a master of running a campaign and allows his opponents to self destruct and knows how to exploit even the slightest misstep they make to his advantage, whereas he rarely makes a single mistake running a campaign. These same polls showing McConnell with low approvals they use as “evidence” he could not get re-elected showed him with wide leads over McGrath. McGrath was a terrible candidate who barely won her own primary despite spending millions of dollars with her main opponent not even on the air.
What an embarrassing joke this article is.
