One would think that Trump would qualify for original jurisdiction. Perhaps he would intervene.

He wouldn't be, and he's not on this suit anyway.

It means that if the sc refuses to hear it, they are worthless corrupt deep state lackies and our republic is gone

***************

I think that’s already been established.

The Court doesn’t give a damn about the republic. They have their secure lifetime jobs and DC cocktail parties and that’s all that matters to them. They’re doing fine while the country collapses.

Powell went through local courts in GA, she didn’t go straight to SCOTUS

This is a Michigan case, not a Georgia case. And she didn't start it at the district court level.

Appeals to SCOTUS are always at the Court’s discretion. They can choose to grant certiorari or not. That was what was different about the Texas case, because suits between states are heard as part of the Court’s original jurisdiction — not on appeal.

Unless something major happens soon, I do not think SCOTUS will grant certiorari to this case or any other that has the potential to change the outcome of the November Presidential election.

They signaled with the Texas case that they do not plan to get involved.

Courts at all levels are acting like Pontius Pilate and trying to wash their hands of anything that might have to do with the results of the election.

“the only persons that are actually damaged by what went on are the STATE LEGISLATURES because their constitutional rights were the ones violated, not your’s, not PDJT’s and not voter’s.”

The deluded Qtards can’t hear you.

They cannot come to grips with the fact not even ONE state house had named competing electors. And said they would not.

Now they imagine VP Pence shaking things up, or House/Senate votes refusing duly appointed electors.

It’s the weirdest mass delusion I’ve seen. Ever.

See my post 38, I’m waiting to see how this all plays out. I have a sneaking suspicion how it will of course, but ill wait a few more weeks to see for sure

How do you know SCOTUS will rule there is no standing?

Powell’s lawsuit is on behalf of electors. Wood’s is on behalf of a GA voter.

Are you suggesting SCOTUS has already decided these two groups have no standing? Based on what?

I am not saying they will rule in our favor but I don’t understand the point of giving up hope before they have even ruled.

Well, there’s an intelligent response.

Have you read her lawsuits?

Saving the republic doesn’t seem to be an issue of importance to the Court. They don’t even care if they get packed. Their paychecks and retirement are secure; that’s the only thing they care about. Typical federal employees.

This Writ will most likely be unceremoniously tossed. Lack of Standing, wrong Plaintiffs. Which is correct and in accordance with legal principles.

No it would not be correct.

In the Texas decision the SCOTUS made it very clear - the only persons that are actually damaged by what went on are the STATE LEGISLATURES because their constitutional rights were the ones violated, not your’s, not PDJT’s and not voter’s.

You read a lot it a very brief order. Where did they specify all of that?

The USSC has already said the only party with standing is the State Legislatures.

So yeah, it’s a brilliant response and light years ahead of denial and delusion.

You are likely right, but I’ll give them a few more weeks to reveal, expose, where they truly stand

You don’t think voter’s or elector’s constitutional rights have been violated?

In GA, I had to show an ID to vote. However, millions of absentee voters could get an absentee ballot without voter ID. That is an absolute violation of the 14th amendment.

What does any of this have to do with “Q”? I am not a follower of that but I absolutely believe there is a constitutional argument here. Are you suggesting that people who believe in constitutional rights are the level of a conspiracy?

“You don’t think voter’s or elector’s constitutional rights have been violated?”

Voters, yes.

Electors, no.

But voters are in the state cage, IAW the Constitution.

When the state legislatures refused to name their own electors and nullify their own state elections, the outcome was CERTAIN.

And the USSC is not going to do it for them.

Can Trump pull a rabbit out of his hat? Maybe, I hope so. If not, the USA and its Constitution are dead. We become subservient to China. The U.S. military can still defeated the Chinese PLA, but it doesn’t matter if Biden would stand down as China conquers Taiwan. Hopefully Japan and South Korea will develop a nuclear deterrent very quickly.

...Prayer is the only hope for America

Won't it be neat if on Jan. 20 a lightening bolt appeared out of the blue and fried Biden and Roberts as they were about to swear the fake President in?

Give me some good reasons to think that the Roberts court is fair and has any interest whatsoever in protecting the republic. Sorry, I just don’t see it. Sometimes you’ve got to recognize a turd for what it is.
