Every vaccine has common reactions. Not everyone gets them, they just are commonly seen. The seasonal flu vaccine has plenty of common reactions. The human immune system does some general things when it’s fighting what it thinks is a foreign invader trying to kill it. It fights back with some general defenses (like raising the body temperature) before it can develop the specialized response that creates lasting immunity.
The vaccine does prevent the spread. The two about to be released are over 90% effective.

Not everyone accepts vaccines. Most states have exemptions. You take care of your immune system. I’ll take care of mine. Basic concept in medicine: the right to consent to treatment.

Foreign object is a foreign object is a foreign object. And if it’s foreign, I attack it, and if it doesn’t go away immediately, I create a specialized response to attack it.
That specialized response is governed by T-cell and B-cell interactions. The ~10% of B-cells that remain post-infection as Memory B-cells ARE created equal. Whether you had the smallpox vaccine or smallpox itself, or whether you had the COVID vaccine or COVID itself, you have the protection that comes from your body’s RESPONSE to a foreign invader; NOT from the vaccine or disease itself.

Ebola is dangerous to all (50% death rate). Why have they not started a vaccine for it? Why use a .2% death rate virus that mainly afflicts 80 year olds?

The Netherlands to day decided to impose penalties on speech if you ridicule or deride transgender souls, fine and a year in jail if you do it privately and up to three years if you do it publicly.
Can't wait to see what the penalties here will be for insulting a politician, unless of course they are Republicans, that would be a patriotic duty.

But if President Trump Predicts “Big Things” in Election Fraud Cases This Week turns out to be anything less than a long stride approach to normalcy which includes, for me, the start of the deconstruction of the democrat party and the arrest of the criminal leadership then I expect learning the penalty of insulting a politician wouldn't be too long in coming.
