Cletus, you did not miss anything. I have fished some of the creeks leading to the North Bosque but there’s such a succession of sewage treatment plants that I avoid the river itself due to odor. North Bosque is the big fork. Neil’s Creek, Hogg Creek and Meridian Creek are okay if you’re a kid on foot. I could walk to those from grandparent’s homes. I’m growed up now and for a day of fishing in Bosque County we hit Lake Whitney. Bass: white, black and sand. Catfish if that’s what we want. My choice is any bass. Plus more fun to fish.
The Middle Bosque running by W’s ranch has been demoted from river to creek lately. Goes dry often. South Bosque goes dry too. So not much fish. An occasional perch.
Dunno if you saw my bragging about the 12 yr old granddaughter who got her first deer, cleaned it and helped process meat this week. Got a text this morning from son-in-law. That girl turns 13 next week. For her birthday she wants a family trout fishing weekend camping trip. WN will be away from FreeQ central for 3 days.

Thanks for that, it squares with my bio-scientist relative’s take that this virus doesn’t mutate, it weakens and will die out on it’s own, unless faster by way of vaccine. He is a believer in vaccines, but then he’s working in that field directly. He calls Pfizer a monopoly, BTW, and says this virus is helping bring more competition to the industry and will cause a good result.
