Many moons ago, Code Pink, Move On, ANSWER, or some other like org. took out a full-page newspaper ad and referred to Gen Petraeus as General Betray us. This was around the time that the general (under GW Bush) gave a report on Iraq to Congress, that the left did not agree with, in any shape, fashion, or form.
Later, under Obama, the general was put in charge of managing military operations in Afghanistan, and what do you know, all disparaging content by the left against General Petraeus miraculously went away.
It truly is sad, and perhaps evil.

Now, much more than ever before, it IS a life job. Very lucrative one.
This is what happens when you create a government class - a government of, by and for the government. It is the government class that spent four years trying to destroy Trump as if he were a cancer cell in their body. They eventually got him, when one side attacks constantly, and the other has means to respond - that government class serving government interest again - eventually one attack will succeed.
Term limits under the government class system can only be enforced at the end of a noose. Other than that, the government will have to fail completely and utterly so that destitution and destruction are enough that the people will rise up and burn it to the ground.
