Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

Thank you. I think we all have anon skills of varying degrees, but in this case I was a snail anon, if anything. I came upon most of that reckoning two years ago after noodling the various pieces in my head for over a year. It finally came together while I was trying to explain my point of view about world events that I contended weren’t what they appeared to be.
Until then, I didn’t have a clear grasp of what was meant when people said “You never really learn something until you teach it.” While I was trying to make sense to the person I was speaking to, I suddenly had clarity about the interconnectivity of those events and people and was able to make a compelling case, largely repeated in my posts today.
If the world ever needs me for a quick decode, we’re probably all doomed.
Keep in mind, Soetoro pulled Slow-Joe out from the bottom of the Democrat ash-heap and gave him the Veep job 3 weeks after Atty Genera Beau Biden took the heat off Barry by falsely extraditing Larry Sinclair to Delaware from Larry's Wash DC press conference that revealed gay sex and cocaine abuse.
In a similar fashion, Slow-Joe pulled Kommie "Reparation H" Harris off the bottom of the discard pile from the Democrat Clown Car of Candidates, and gave her the Veep position. She was a terrible campaigner, consummate liar, poor fundraiser, garnered ZERO delegates, and was from a state Slow-Joe didn't even need. She is secondary Mini-Me Trojan Horse inside the Slow-Joe Trojan Horse to bring on full-blown socialism.
Perhaps they didn't want a visual redux of the Hillary Dwarf-Tossing into the side of an unmarked ambulance.
Frankly considering the ‘results’ of this attack, I’d rather the President economically annihilate them. Get some spine in the peasantry.
