Flubros and Flubras! Day 244 ( a place for Flubros and Flubras)

It’s just the flu, bro.

I have been listening to a lot of Jordan Peterson discussing alexander solzhenitsyn, who wrote the Gulag Archepelego. This is the book that made outright Communism untenable for the leftists - too many people knew it was evil. Instead, leftists were forced to promote more subtle versions of what they wanted, such as democratic socialism.

“To do evil a human being must first of all believe that what he's doing is good... Ideology - that is what gives devildoing its long-sought justification and gives the evildoer the necessary steadfastness and determination. That is the social theory which helps to make his acts seem good instead of bad in his own and others' eyes, so that he won't hear reproaches and curses but will receive praise and honors.” Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

This is what we have with these mask mandates and lockdowns. People believe what they are doing is good. They think it is a life-saving act of good to call the police on your neighbor who has 11 people over for thanksgiving instead of 10. They think it is saving lives to shut gyms down. They think curfews keep people from catching the Coronavirus.

So we have the sheep, who think the tyrannical rules are good. And we have the leftist leaders, who may or may not know that this is a farce, pushing these rules with a little helping hand from millions of sheep.

When someone suffers a personal loss it is a tragedy so prayers for those in his family negatively affected by the Coronavirus.

That being said my opinion has not changed one bit. This overblown hype to take our freedoms away. Just as when a black man is killed by the police it is somehow more of a “crime” than when a white man is killed by police, we have a situation where anyone killed by Coronavirus is more of a tragedy than any other type of death. I know relatives who died from the flu a few years ago...I didn’t advocate for losing personal liberties as a result of that.

Your fear porn is no longer necessary, your side has successfully rigged an election. Shouldn’t you move on to promoting false facts to undermine Trump’s efforts to beat back the cheating?

Good for you and thanks for acknowledging that this isn't the flu.

Wait. You thought the 'just the flu bro' meant we thought it was the regular flu?

Preston, I didn't know you were that simple.

Of course it was whipped up in a Chinese lab with the help of our derps and intentionally released.

Thing is, it ain't Captain Trips and everything connected to it was political.

You seriously thought.....

*shakes head*

This is what happens when somebody has underlying anger issues.

He got "bounced" to FR jail, but was released.
We'll let's see if we can conjure him up:

Hey Piss-boi, give us a sitrep on MAGA-Coalition, Dixie Cup Nation, Senator D. Drunkwich, and an update the Covid situation there under the Hoboken bridge. Please. ;)

The Recurring Coronavirus Coincidence
By Todd Bensman on October 27, 2020

In El Paso County across from Juarez, Mexico, hospitals once again are buckling under the weight of a new Covid-19 case influx of 300 percent in just the past three weeks, drawing intense media coverage in recent days. Hospitals in California's border-hugging Imperial Valley are jammed with patients, too, transporting "hundreds" of them to interior hospitals to keep their beds clear for more. And in the Arizona-Mexico border counties of Yuma and Santa Cruz, hospitals also are suffering Covid-19 case surges.

Unfortunately or fortunately, this all looks like a re-run of what happened this past spring and summer, not only in El Paso, where the crisis is national news, but also in Arizona and California.

By Todd Bensman on June 24, 2020

Evidence continues to mount that spikes in Covid cases in U.S. border states are due to successive waves of infected people fleeing Mexico's dysfunctional and overwhelmed hospitals to get American medical care at least as much, if not more than, to the re-opening of those states' economies.

The Border Crossing Covid Problem Is More Serious Than What's Being Reported

"We get to them right away," Morgan said. "And we're taking them directly to the hospital and once they get to the hospital then they're being tested later and we find out they were Covid [positive]."

The U.S. hospital facilities to which such immigrants are taken, by the way, have become so overrun with virus patients in recent weeks that they have been transporting patients by helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft, and ambulance fleets to hospitals throughout the interiors of California, Texas, and Arizona, where all blame typically is attributed only to the lifting of lockdowns and community spread.

Stop the spread.
Stay away from illegal aliens.

Da! (neighbor)
Say, does Fedco(u$) get discounts for air ambulance rides?
Do illegal aliens displace American citizens from limited Covid beds? Save an alien, kill a ‘Murican.
If it do, that doesn’t seem “fair”.

Per Capita rates in Arizona:

Apart from the border, much of it is driven by the Navajo and Pima Indians, both of which have huge issues with obesity and diabetes. "The Pima Indian population of Arizona has one of the highest prevalence of diabetes of any population in the world, and the Pima Indians of the Gila River Indian Community have probably been the most studied group for the causes and consequences of diabetes."

https://diabetes.diabetesjournals.org/content/64/12/3993

"Take just diabetes. Historically, almost no Navajo suffered from it. But because of factors including the scarcity of wholesome groceries available within the Navajo Nation, one in three Navajo are now diabetic or pre-diabetic. In some regions, health care workers report diagnosing diabetes in every other patient."

Too much copper in their diet?

Last I heard AZ Senators No-name and Snow Flake had Indian-traded Resolution Copper to the British Commonwealth to sell strategic US copper to the Chinese to make Whowhat phones to sell back to us. Sort of like Uranium1. That’d make you sick.

“The Resolution Copper deposit is located in an area that has a long history of use by Native Americans including the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community, the Gila River Indian Community, the Pueblo of Zuni, the Yavapai Prescott Indian Tribe, the Yavapai-Apache Nation, the Hopi Tribe, the San Carlos Apache Tribe, the Tonto Apache Tribe, and the White Mountain Apache Tribe. The Tonto National Forest is working with interested and affected parties to better understand the historical, cultural and religious importance of the area.”

I think we can separate what a proper response from government should look like from the actual impact of the disease itself. I’m no fan of mandates, lockdowns, shutdowns, etc., but I also acknowledge that COVID-19 has killed many Americans and continues to do so.

I don’t advocate for losing personal liberties, and I think that position is only strengthened by accepting the basic facts about what the disease is (and isn’t). There’s hyperbole on both sides, and lost in the middle are the real people impacted both by the virus itself (those afflicted and their families) and by the botched responses from the (mostly Democrat) state governments.
