Same thing I was thinking, Powell was going to have to separate herself from them to concentrate and go after separate issues. Trump goes after audits and recounts to get the illegal ballots throw out and flip states for Trump. She is going after something that could include a lot of dirty people including both sides.
I hate to admit how little I know of this sort of thing, but... will this case be decided by one judge (and we hope they get a Republican in the luck of the draw) or does it go before a whole panel of them, like (I guess) the Supreme Court does it...?
When Dr Franklin says “en banc” it means the whole panel.
One panel can differ from another panel so you go to the whole panel.

I havent read the Executive Order from Trump that has bearing on this that expedited the process so dont know how that plays into it.
Bingo! A plan coming together. If it was not for the 5th column, it would not need to take this course. The left is chopping their own head off. Unbridled resentment creates phycosis and delusion.

Roberts’ recent vote contributed in no small way to the mess we’re in. If the Supremes fail to clean it up it will be tantamount to condoning widespread fraud, depriving equal protection, and tolerating a lack of transparency. This, of course, would lead to a lack of confidence in the legitimacy of our governing institutions and the severe erosion of faith in the republic itself.
The stakes couldn’t be higher.
ACB is in a very difficult situation and might not be the savior we are hoping she will be. What in your estimation are the odds that the Supremes will take steps to restore confidence in our voting systems? Will they recognize the implications for the country and do the right thing, or will they look to sidestep the tough decisions thereby perpetuating the problems?
Remember that the main plaintiff in this case is the Trump campaign, not the candidate. So, regardless of that decision, President Trump himself could file a separate action, which isn’t barred. I suspect that there must be some benefit to have the campaign bring the lawsuit, i.e., getting contributions to pay for legal costs.
