Regarding the Supreme Court ruling on the PA case. It was a 4-4 decision. Roberts joined with the libs, and Barrett recused, IIRC. Kavanaugh did not join with the liberals.

The Pubbies had asked for expedited hearing, but the Court stated that there was not sufficient time to decide this case before the election, and ordered the ballots to be segregated, and that judicial review could happen after the election.

So it was not based on merit, and Roberts was probably hoping it would be a moot issue after the election. Anyway, I agree with Levin, it’s pretty easy to know that the court and SOS had no authority to change the laws.
