Barrett doesn’t seem to have the character for succumbing to being badgered. At all.

If my memory serves, she recused since she had not participated in the arguments and had no time to review the case materials. I do not know where I read that but it made sense to me at the time. And I did take specific note of it. I will try to find a source....
