Flubros and Flubras! Day 238 (a place for Flubros and Flubras)

It’s just the flu, bro.

So we have curfews in California and other US jurisdictions. We have lockdown insanity in Scotland with all gyms shutdown and massive restrictions on movement. Scotland is a dump of a place...the desire for actual freedom which was seen in Braveheart has been totally gone for at least 100 years.

In contrast to the above we have Desantis in Florida. He says no new lockdowns. He is a true leader. When a politician goes against the grain to do the right thing then that politician has earned a massive amount of goodwill that will not soon be forgotten.

-

I have been reading about “aerosols” or “aerosolization” of mucus particles containing Coronavirus. Perhaps in some cases the virus spreads faster because maybe masks create these smaller particles and they travel farther. I don’t really know what I am talking about but if anyone thinks that this line of reasoning can give masks a bad name then please elaborate.

In Pennsylvania masks are mandated even when in your own home.

“+157,261 NEW CASES “

Please define “case”. Does the “case” (person I hope) have any symptoms? Even 1 symptom? If the answer is no, remember the medical system has never called something a case if the person is not sick. At the beginning of the “pandemic” the term “case” was not used to describe people sick with covid19. This terminology started later. The PCR test has up to 90% false positives and the Nobel prize winning creator of the PCR test said it should not be used to diagnose illness. Why don’t we have a more accurate test instead of using one that promotes hysteria and is used to politically control the people?

Dick DeWine can bite my butt. He is going to end up getting law enforcement hurt. Not by me. Some people are getting a little crazy being locked down. Its just a matter of time before some nut job looses it.
Then will come the gun confiscation.

But, but, but . . . 14 day pause, lockdowns!, contact tracing!

Those were all gonna save us!

Please indulge my brief rant from last night. Many thanks!

This new round of panic and control over the Communist Chinese virus has turned into a competition among tyrants: Who can hurt the American citizens of their respective states the most.

For many reasons what is going on is absolutely ridiculous -- not the least of which is that every restriction, command, diktat and mandate being issued the week before Thanksgiving Day is not "new"; they have been tried before and most have been in effect for at least the past half year -- and these things simply don't work! Masking, staying two yards apart from every other living soul, shutting down private businesses, closing schools and playgrounds, severely restricting church services (and if you do get in, you're not "allowed" to worship with hymns of praise), eliminating most entertainment, quarantining of healthy people ... none of these drastic, clearly unConstitutional mandates have done a G-D thing to stop or even slow down the respiratory virus which continues to act -- well -- like a normal flu virus (except it's nowhere near as deadly as most flus!)

This simply must stop. Now! The accumulation of power by a few politicians and bureaucrats who see the virus as an "opportunity" is just not compatible with the existence of our Constitutional Republic.

What American "men" and women are doing to their children -- and to themselves -- is disgraceful at best -- criminal at worst ... even fatal if you get right down to it!

It's about damn time we say "Enough!"

-- We MUST say "Enough of your sh!t!" to the governors, mayors, county councilmen and other lower level politicians.
-- We MUST say "Enough of your fear-mongering!" to the plethora of unelected bureaucrats such as "public health officials".
-- We MUST say "Enough of your damn lies!" to all those "experts" who have been wrong so often and who have bastardized science into nothing more than opinion. As to this virus, "Science" has devolved into "Political Science".

These self-absorbed asses are killing our Republic by destroying our economic system, by dissolving our social systems and by crushing the human spirit of American citizens, most tragically, American children who have literally lost a year of growth in their young lives. What a shameful way for adults to behave: deliberately allowing -- yes, allowing that to happen ... to allow other people entrusted with political power to do this to us, to our children and to our country.

What the G-D hell is wrong with us?! Why are we allowing power-obsessed politicians, ego-maniacal bureaucrats and unwise, failed "experts" to do this to us?! Are we so fearful of a respiratory virus with a survival rate of over 99 percent, and are we so subservient to everyday politicians and bureaucrats that we willingly give up our livelihoods, that we physically and psychologically harm ourselves and hurt our children and that we purposefully have replaced rational thought and reasoning with pure emotion just because politicians, bureaucrats and experts commanded that we do so? You'd have to be insane to think this is "the right thing to do" for God's sake.

It's time for American "men" to re-grow a pair, for American women to re-take control of their family's well-being, and for all of us to scream loudly, persistently and courageously to the assholes who have come to believe -- have led themselves, not without good reason, to believe -- that they control our very lives ... and we must do this until they get the message that their tyranny is over ... it's OVER!

Please set aside your emotions, fear, politics -- whatever -- for just a few precious moments at this normally joyous time of the year and realize this tyranny not going to end without a mass, hopefully peaceful (at least at this point) uprising. You must understand this is not going to happen out of the goodness of our "leaders' hearts" or without your active involvement. History and human nature being what it is, you must understand that politicians and bureaucrats are not going to give up their vast new, self-anointed powers, and "experts" are not about to give up their new-found celebrity without a fight. No sirree they're not! But realize the odds are in our favor. I calculate, conservatively, we outnumber the tyrants and experts by, oh, say well over a million to one. Decent odds ... but the numbers and the odds mean nothing without positive action.

Actually, I think there is a small tweak in your idea.

While I think the mask can assist in the "aerosolization" of the virus, I think the mask will also slow down the cloud and concentrate the cloud.

Remember the discussion on viral load? We are all breathing in the virus all the time. It is only when we get a big enough clump of it that our immune system can't handle it that we get sick.

Picture clouds of smoke from an old time steam engine. Nice clumps of smoke. Picture the same coming out of a mask. And then picture yourself walking through these undissipated clouds of aerosolized particles, all the better the slip through your mask and deep into your lungs (instead of stick in your nose hairs - nature's mask.

And thus increasing your viral load with the type of particles that lodge in the most dangerous (for you) places. Deep in the lungs.

Anyways, that's my thinking on the topic of masking.

Coronavirus was circulating in Italy as early as September 2019, scientists believe

COVID-19 may have been in Italy as early as September 2019: study

Biden points out he was warning about pandemic unpreparedness in October while Trump tweeted about iPhones

Marianne Dodson - May 28, 2020

Former Vice President Joe Biden has a humble brag he'd like to share.

In October 2019, months before the coronavirus outbreak began, Biden tweeted a warning to the United States, saying "We are not prepared for a pandemic." Biden then called out President Trump for rolling back measures the Obama administration took, likely referring to Trump's 2018 disbandment of the team directly responsible for handling a pandemic response.

Obama highlights Biden's tweet from a year ago warning Trump wasn't ready for pandemic

Brooke Seipel - 10/25/2020

The Post cited former national security adviser John Bolton's decision under Trump to disband a unit on global health security and biodefense as one reason the U.S. score on pandemic preparedness was not ideal. The global health team was created under Obama and Biden in response to the Ebola pandemic.

Weird.  It's almost like they knew or something.

"ABC's This Week's George Stephanopoulos this morning interviewed Kate Bedingfield, Deputy Campaign Manager and Communications Director for Joe Biden."

Bedingfield said Joe Biden has NOT been tested for Covid 19 but that they were following "very strict protocals".

Let that sink in.

Biden, Harris to get routine virus testing, a notable change

ALEXANDRA JAFFE - Associated Press August 24, 2020

"In a notable change, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, will now be regularly tested for the coronavirus as the race heats up, a campaign aide confirmed Monday.

“This announcement is another step demonstrating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ commitment to turn the page on Trump’s catastrophic mismanagement during the worst public health crisis in 100 years,” said Biden spokesperson Andrew Bates.

Bates declined to comment Monday when asked if Biden had been tested yet, though deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield said Sunday that he hadn't been."

I totally agree with your rant. I have given this a lot of thought for awhile. I think so many on here agree with your point, but the rubber meets the road when anybody tries to come up with reasonable solutions of stopping the madness.

I am stunned by how many don’t realize that the mayors, governors, etc. have no power alone. They only have power by using the threat of arrest. The Dallas salon owner would have continued business as usual, had she not been arrested. Other salons and shops would have decided for themselves and many would have opened. One could argue that the mayor could have just turned off power. True. But there is one hell of a difference losing your power, or being shackled and put in a cage.

People are being arrested, threatened with arrest or, in some cases, cops are just standing there watching the real criminals attack. You may not be aware but if you think cops need to honor their oath to the Constitution or pay a hefty fine, then you are called a cop hater on this site. No matter how many times you say you think the specific cops who don’t honor their oath should be in trouble, it is turned around into ALL cops don’t honor their oath. Even the guy who gave you kudos and a mic drop, he asked me in a post why I thought cops worked for America? He said they work for whatever jurisdiction they are in . He said they need to just follow the order of the “derps” (deep state) that is in office.

If we can’t get past the hurdle of the real threat of being imprisoned, then I don’t have a solution, but unlike so many on here, I am willing to listen to your solution without distorting it, or name calling.

your cheerleading is great, now we need a plan of action. After a few patriots start, the rest will follow.

Thanks for continuing on with the critical element of ACTION. Most times, unless the matter at hand affects us personally and as long as people are reasonably comfortable in their lifestyle there's not enough motivation to get involved because of all the other "stuff" we're involved in.

Early on I thought that as hot summer weather came, people would stop wearing those damned masks and start complaining about all the restrictions ... Didn't happen as fear provided a "good reason" for all the restrictions, mandates and closures to continue even though Easter and Memorial Day were crushed by the governors and bureaucrats.

Then I thought that as the school year began and fall social activities -- fall festivals; halloween, etc. -- all the continuing restrictions and closures would get people off their arses if for no other reason than to get the kids out of the house! ... Happened a little, but surprisingly little as fear continued to provide a "good reason" to keep the kids locked away by themselves and crush the kids' favorite holiday, Halloween.

But now, after eight long months of this, well, crap with what is (reportedly) no positive result from all the masking and distancing and locking down, closings and restrictions, I'm seeing the fear at least being qualified a bit as the Democrat/Left -- as they always do -- overreaches with threats of killing off our great religious-based holidays ... Thanksgiving and Christmas ... with no end in sight after that! .... But even this doesn't seem to be enough to get widespread anger going.

Even worse, most people seem not all that concerned about the loss of our basic freedoms. This is what is most disheartening. Not that tyrants wouldn't do this, but that people meekly -- or out of ongoing fear -- continue to accept these huge losses as "the new normal" (my God how I hate that phrase ... right up there with "be safe" and "better safe than sorry").

But we're at a tipping point now. If this vaccine doesn't reduce the fear so that people stop obsessing about the virus and begin to think how much they -- and their children -- have lost and begin to demand through words and especially with widespread noncompliance, I don't know what would. And all the while, the tyrants continue to up the ante ... to ramp up the mandates, demands, orders, restrictions ... beyond anything I could -- until this year -- imagine could ever be allowed by American citizens to happen in America.

As a good portion of the 73 miilion people who voted for Trump decide that they are simply not going to put up with this tyranny any longer ... if the politicians, bureaucrats and "experts" don't relent or a least back the hell off, things could get, well, pretty damn dicey pretty damn quickly. So the time for action is NOW!

This right here! My heart is breaking at how our own families and friends, people who we have respected, can just ignore the loss of common sense and freedoms.

People are leaving loved ones to die alone? Leaving aging parents with strangers only to care for them? This is horribly disappointing.

Maybe you could start a thread like the Trummp train thread, or Q thread where like minded people who want to effect change, not just complain can go. Food for thought, you’re good at getting a point across.

Thanks for your reply.

That would be me and that's not even close to what I said. You hear things the way you want to hear them and reinterpret the things you say.

This is why you have a distorted view of 'cops'.

I am willing to listen to your solution without distorting it, or name calling.

Apparently not.

Here it is told in a way maybe even you can understand.

Its not the cops. Its the system. The politicians.

Get that through your head.

This is exactly what you wrote to me:

The police have always been policy and law enforcers for whoever is in charge. When they are under a derp regime, they enforce the policies of the derp state. So to answer your question, they changed to derp enforcers when derps got in charge.

Where do you get the idea that the police work for America? They work for, and are subject to, their particular jurisdiction.

Example, stand down orders during riots in derp controlled zones throughout the country. You must be aware of that. The police are not an independent force, making their own policy decisions. Maybe you just don’t know how this works.

Its not the cops. Its the system. The politicians.

Get that through your head.

And the system and the politicians have no power if not for the cops.

Get that through your head.

Or maybe you think we could have been voting out these corrupt politico’s with dominion voting systems the last few elections. Is that your plan?

One last point. You sound exactly like the left when we complain about illegal immigrants. Their only recourse is to lie and say we hate all immigrants. Of course I like cops, and law, and order. But I don’t like cops who don’t stand up for the Constitution. Just like I don’t like anyone who comes here illegally.

One more last point. You told me in a private message that this issue was personal for you. But this issue is very personal to me too. I have 3 Marine brothers who all saw combat. One in Korea, and 2 in Nam. I have a father in law, who was in the Navy and flew corsairs off air craft carriers. They didn’t risk everything so that cops here in the states could just look the other way at the domestic enemies they are taking orders from.

This is a good video if you haven’t seen it. A little over 5 minutes long, but it is a recording of what one prominent Canadian Dr. has to say. His credentials are listed in the comments and also he states them in the recording. It starts of off a little shakey, the first 10 sec. no sound. But, worth the listen. It backs up your entire point.

And the system and the politicians have no power if not for the cops.

Here. This should simplify things for you.

Which group gets to tell the other group what to do? Do the cops get to tell the politicians or do the politicians get to tell the cops.

If you can answer that honestly, you will come to an understanding.

Just like the politicians that told the soldiers in Vietnam what they could and couldn't to.

You sound exactly like the left

And you sound like my retarded uncle. And he has a wooden leg.

Of course I like cops, and law, and order. But I don’t like cops who don’t stand up for the Constitution.

On this, we are in agreement. Every good cop HATES a bad cop. But a bad cop is not emblematic of cops as a whole, just as a bad soldier is not of all soldiers.

And 'bad cops' are a different subject than cops who are given parameters by bad politicians.

Do you finally see my point?

I think because you are losing this argument, your condescension is becoming childish.

Are you really going to tell me that people have an obligation to follow illegal orders. i don’t care who gives them. If my boss tells me to rob a bank, And I know I am robbing a bank, I don’t get a pass because it was a work order.

1. Man grabbing and running away with a woman’s purse.
2. Woman walking with purse into store you notice her due to the beautiful red lipstick on her lips.
3. Woman spray painting a building she doesn’t own with graffiti.
4.Man attending a church service
5. Couple holding up a grocery store at knife point
6. Couple, while following all rules that the rest of staff must follows, visits aging parent in nursing home.
7. Man breaking the windows of a retail store he is running past.
8. Man, cutting the hair of a paying customer.
9. Man, rushing the stage at a “back the blue” event.
10. Man, filming on public property the empty hospital that the MSM claimed was overrun.

A five year old could tell you that the odd posts are illegal activity and the even posts aren’t. Why are you so insistent that we pretend the cops don’t know this isn’t illegal activity? And, of course good cops hate bad cops. Thanks to people like you who won’t help stop them, these bad cops endanger all the good cops that are out there. Sadly, they are forced to endure them cause you won’t help stop them. You defend bad cops.

As far as stand down orders, I am no spring chicken, but had I been in Chicago and been right near a Trump supporter being brutalized, I would have at least tried to help. I’m pretty good at kicking, biting and fingernail gouging. To see police men standing there and doing nothing? There are not words.

Lastly, you better stop disparaging our military. These brave do not historically go in and follow illegal orders. I’m pretty sure we have a name for that, it’s called war crimes. To compare a cop not knowing it ok to go in and open business to cut hair, and a soldier taking military orders on troop movement is shocking.
