Thanks for continuing on with the critical element of ACTION. Most times, unless the matter at hand affects us personally and as long as people are reasonably comfortable in their lifestyle there's not enough motivation to get involved because of all the other "stuff" we're involved in.

Early on I thought that as hot summer weather came, people would stop wearing those damned masks and start complaining about all the restrictions ... Didn't happen as fear provided a "good reason" for all the restrictions, mandates and closures to continue even though Easter and Memorial Day were crushed by the governors and bureaucrats.

Then I thought that as the school year began and fall social activities -- fall festivals; halloween, etc. -- all the continuing restrictions and closures would get people off their arses if for no other reason than to get the kids out of the house! ... Happened a little, but surprisingly little as fear continued to provide a "good reason" to keep the kids locked away by themselves and crush the kids' favorite holiday, Halloween.

But now, after eight long months of this, well, crap with what is (reportedly) no positive result from all the masking and distancing and locking down, closings and restrictions, I'm seeing the fear at least being qualified a bit as the Democrat/Left -- as they always do -- overreaches with threats of killing off our great religious-based holidays ... Thanksgiving and Christmas ... with no end in sight after that! .... But even this doesn't seem to be enough to get widespread anger going.

Even worse, most people seem not all that concerned about the loss of our basic freedoms. This is what is most disheartening. Not that tyrants wouldn't do this, but that people meekly -- or out of ongoing fear -- continue to accept these huge losses as "the new normal" (my God how I hate that phrase ... right up there with "be safe" and "better safe than sorry").

But we're at a tipping point now. If this vaccine doesn't reduce the fear so that people stop obsessing about the virus and begin to think how much they -- and their children -- have lost and begin to demand through words and especially with widespread noncompliance, I don't know what would. And all the while, the tyrants continue to up the ante ... to ramp up the mandates, demands, orders, restrictions ... beyond anything I could -- until this year -- imagine could ever be allowed by American citizens to happen in America.

As a good portion of the 73 miilion people who voted for Trump decide that they are simply not going to put up with this tyranny any longer ... if the politicians, bureaucrats and "experts" don't relent or a least back the hell off, things could get, well, pretty damn dicey pretty damn quickly. So the time for action is NOW!

Even worse, most people seem not all that concerned about the loss of our basic freedoms. This is what is most disheartening. Not that tyrants wouldn’t do this, but that people meekly — or out of ongoing fear — continue to accept these huge losses as “the new normal” (my God how I hate that phrase ... right up there with “be safe” and “better safe than sorry”).

This right here! My heart is breaking at how our own families and friends, people who we have respected, can just ignore the loss of common sense and freedoms.

People are leaving loved ones to die alone? Leaving aging parents with strangers only to care for them? This is horribly disappointing.

Maybe you could start a thread like the Trummp train thread, or Q thread where like minded people who want to effect change, not just complain can go. Food for thought, you’re good at getting a point across.

Thanks for your reply.

This is a good video if you haven’t seen it. A little over 5 minutes long, but it is a recording of what one prominent Canadian Dr. has to say. His credentials are listed in the comments and also he states them in the recording. It starts of off a little shakey, the first 10 sec. no sound. But, worth the listen. It backs up your entire point.
