A Virginia college dean has triggered outrage among his leftist peers after he slammed supporters of Joe Biden as "ignorant, anti-American, and anti-Christian." Paul Ewell, who is the head of Virginia Wesleyan University's business school and dean of the university's Global Campus, took to Facebook to blast those who voted for former Vice President Biden in the 2020 election.

He’s right.
Fatherin Heaven:
Thank you that the Word of God has penetrated the hearts and souls of professing Christians like Professor Ewell. We stand with him and and ask that you fight back against the opposition he receives.
Please express your displeasure with those who call themselves Christians (eg. John Piper)and still voted for such anti-Christ and anti-Christian policy as what Joe Biden represents. Those who embrace traditional Biblical values have been way too accommodating to the Left. As a consequence, we are besieged by this liberal apostasy; left, right, up, down, outside our doors and inside the house.
We beseech Thee, therefore, O Lord, for some Almighty intervention.
In the name of Christ, Amen
I don’t know much about the college republicans, but even if they are useless, I’d much rather have them than the college Antifa types.
My brother is a college professor in a prominent school in New England and he has reflected your sediments about inroads being made. Although he says where its at right now...everything is still on the down low and under the rug in terms of the right leaning professors. (out of fear of retribution, ect) They aren’t “out of the closet” (yet?)so to speak.
Only the ones they are burning.
Tell us something we do not know... /s
Virginia Wesleyan University?? Neverheard of it, but going to look into it...
I think a lot is a perception becomes reality kind of thing. If everyone assumes that colleges are far left...then no one on the right or even center speaks up, and colleges then actually become far left by default. This doesn’t mean ignore hard realities or go attend some wacko school like Evergreen, but I think also the right doesn’t count its wins sometimes, unwarrantedly. I think sometimes we’re too hard on ourselves. Yes, colleges lean left—where else can you make money by basically just writing treatises on “oppression” instead of actually producing—but honestly, I think the majority of students are apolitical more than anything and more interested in sports and partying. That’s an opportunity for us.
Agreed...
Speaking of myself when I was in college 20 years ago, I myself was largely apolitical although you could say I leaned right.
I recognized the hypocrisy and inconsistencies in the leftist arguments.
I resented their propensity to dictate to the rest of us, ect. But in the end, I didn’t much care either way.
But I didn’t become actually “political” until about 8 years after college....and that is when I first voted.
The guy resigned. C’mon man.
