They were slaves for over 100 years, but less than 200. The longer time frame begins from when God commanded Abraham to sojurn.

Five years after his birth, Sarah weaned Isaac, and the young lad likely participated in his first sacrificial oblation during Abraham’s feast.

This feast was exactly 400 years before the exodus to the very day.
