Correction, just 17. The 18th was just in a good spot and so I put a tomato cage over it. Hopefully then it won’t get pulled as a weed.
These trees have been started by chipmunks and squirrels (nasty little beggars). So, I try to discover them and move them to better locations or to a protected area of the garden until they can get larger, in about 2 years. When they are stronger, I’ll move them farther out into my woods.

The secret is these trees are all less than a foot tall, most only 6”. They are very easy to transplant.

Mine too. Whenever I think of staying up late I remember that two cats will get me up for breakfast. And if I try to sleep anyway, cotton keeps tapping my nose with her paw. I should never have taught her “touch my nose”.

ESPN is slashing 500 jobs as cost pressures from the COVID-19 pandemic are accelerating the sports media company’s move into streaming.
The cuts, which include 300 layoffs, were revealed Thursday in a memo from Jimmy Pitaro, president of the Walt Disney Co.-owned unit. In addition to the layoffs, another 200 open positions will be eliminated, the company said. ESPN has more than 5,000 employees worldwide.
“Prior to the pandemic, we had been deeply engaged in strategizing how best to position ESPN for future success amidst tremendous disruption in how fans consume sports,” Pitaro said in the memo viewed by the Times. “The pandemic’s significant impact on our business clearly accelerated those forward-looking discussions.”

Wow. I just got chills. Could it be that even during this election cycle, Trump is working, had it planned to expose the fraud and stop the cheating that’s been going on for too long? That actually going through the election, letting it happen - that’s the only way to expose it and prove that it happened and send people to jail. What a man.
