I’ve always had to choose each person individually so never quite got the concept of not voting straight ticket. I was thinking it meant ‘no, you got to pick someone of the other party for one office somewhere on your ballot’! I’ve heard of places that invalidated your ballot if you didn’t vote for the highest office on the ballot somehow but voted for the lesser races. Maybe I should google. LOL
