Is there a link for the 1st rally today in Newtown? I don’t see it on RSBN’s schedule.
VACATION
My wife and I decided we’ll need a vacation once the world re-opens. I taped a world map to the refrigerator, gave my wife a magnetic dart, and said, “Wherever it lands is our vacation spot!”
Seems we’ll be spending 2 weeks behind the fridge.
I’ve always considered working the polls, but because of my work I can’t take off. I can get leave any time I want in normal circumstances but we’re blacked out from taking leave from mid-August until Thanksgiving. Plus, I’m a state employee and there’s limits on what kind of ‘political’ activities we can participate in.
But it’s definitely something I want to do when I’ve retired in a few years. I have a friend who works at the local election commission; maybe I can do some type of work to help them outside of the general election time right now, if I’m not prohibited by state law!

The first rally today is a private function I believe it is to THANK the endless hard work being done in PA ALSO I think he is getting a game together for fraud in PA.

‘Soul food’ is, to me, southern country cooking! My family was sharecroppers back before WW2 and eats that way even today. I was talking about a family supper one day at work and one of the black guys was listening. After I stopped reeling off what we had, he said ‘you eat like black folks!’. It tickles me that soul food is always labeled as ‘African American’ when poor whites in the south ate the same way. The only difference is probably some seasoning changes (Creole, for example).
Paula Deen is NOT the southern food I grew up on!
Soul food consists of but is not limited to:
Fried anything (chicken, fish, pork chops)
Sweet potatoes
Blackeyed peas
White beans
Cornbread/hushpuppies
BBQ (ribs and pulled pork)
Cooked greens (collards, dandelion, turnip-no kale back then!)
Fresh vegetables, particularly green beans, okra, tomatoes, corn (both sweet and field)
Chitterlings

You will not regret it. As to clerk if you know people in the community. To be judge if you are computer savvy. Here the pay and hours are the same.
