I am reading a wonderful book about 1640 Maryland. Each chapter has a header. The one that caught my eye was written around 600 BC by Aesop.
"We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great one to public office."
Reminds me of the FBI, CIA, Bidens, etc.

In fact the two were many miles and years apart.
True story.

1640 Maryland is a nice looking house. Zillow estimates it at $1,116,500.00. I didn’t know there was an entire book about it, though. Not on the market right now.
