I did notice when I lived in the America (in Illinois) that the people there tended to be quite literally minded and slow to understand concepts like metaphors and irony.
Then again Illinois is a blue state so maybe that would explain it...

The older children are brought in by coyotes, but the babies are brought in by dingos.

You should not use the term “coyote” because it is offensive to smugglers that traffic in humans?

Now we (may) know why ‘they’ flinch when we say
“WOW!!!! Look at that hot cougar”....

Thats right up there with the Dem congressman who was concerned that Guam could tip over if too many people were stationed there.

In the current litigation, for example, out of the parents of 485 children whom Plaintiffs counsel has been able to contact, theyve yet to identify a single family that wants their child reunited with them in their country of origin, Jennings said.

Easy problem to fix.
Send the kids back anyway. Not our children. Not our problem.
And anyone, judge, lawyer, activist, whatever, gets in the way of it, arrest and try them for kidnapping under color of law and execute them as the law allows.

People have obviously forgotten how the Obama administration advertised for escort services for unaccompanied alien children back in January, 2014 which resulted in over 65,000 unaccompanied children being transported from Central American countries of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras and transported to undisclosed locations throughout the United States.
It should also be noted that following that government sponsored migration, there were flare ups in the communities where these children were deposited of a virus only found in Guatemala........

If You Dont Know That Coyotes Are Human Smugglers, Shut Up About The Border "Coyotes: A Journey though the Secret World of America's Illegal Aliens" by Ted Conover published 1987.
If a word that has been in common usage for over 30 years has not yet sunk into your dear little head you don't know enough about the subject to opine.
