I didn't watch the debate, but I did hear snippets.
The moment, of what I heard, when he was the debate was when Trump said he was able to work with Congress and Biden was not and Biden couldn't make a rebuttal.

that was my thought when he said ‘oil pollutes’ - along with the pharms, and other products derived from petroleum that you mentioned, windmills and solar and the associated transmission lines can’t be produced or maintained without oil derived products.
In Calif we’ve already experienced power crisis when wind/solar couldn’t meet the demand and the state had to scramble like crazy to source prime-rate electricity from outside the state. Which works in theory (at higher cost to the ratepayer of course) when no other state is demanding that electricity, but is catastrophic when there is more demand than supply, i.e., during a disaster. And then there’s the problem of adding more transmission lines to existing lines - high-voltage line radiation having at least a minimal effect on the immediate environment (I think 50 yards? might be feet)

I watched. Best debate Trump has ever done. They man has watched miles and miles of video on Twitter and remembered every inch of it. I lost count at 8 lies the Team Trump can post video to rebut. Not a “difference of opinion” lie, out right bold face lies.
IMO, Joe lost on Coronavirus. Trump said “we have to learn to live with the virus.” Joe looked at the camera and told us who would have to learn to die with the virus.
When he walked up on stage and someone motioned to him to get behind the podium ...

Biden lost the debate when he came out wearing a mask and did not put it back on at the end.
Biden also lost when he failed to use Trump’s famous words against him, “You’re Fired.”
When he said no one lost their health insurance under Obamacare
Coming out wearing a mask showed weakness right off the bat.
