The building I work at has five floors and various tenants on each floor. Not many now because of the virus.
Company I work for has 30 employees on the first floor and the basement.
I was walking in from outside just now and the building owner stopped me in the lobby. He is a great guy and we get along well.
He was telling me some the upper floor tenants are bitching that "some guy" on the first floor does not wear a mask when he walks around the lobby or to use the restroom on the first floor.
Building owner told me, cover your face with your arm when you see them and he laughed. I told him since we have a good relationship I will wear it so you do not hear complaints anymore.
He was not scolding or shaming me into to doing it which I thought that was respectful to me. Unlike the mask Karen's I come into contact with at the store.
As are you (like you need to hear that from me).
Normals have concern for their fellow man. I'll mask up in a store - some people actually ARE susceptible to this nasty virus (it's almost like it was made that way...).
Normals also believe in private property - if the building owner asks, sure, I'll do it.
But if some zealot on the street accosts my unmasked self like I'm a war criminal, I say "Thanks, Karen..." and walk away passively.
Well done, FRiend.
Students here wear masks all the time. When they are running, when they are riding their bike, hiking by themselves. Strange
I’d pay to watch some of those episodes...LOL.
Thanks, ask nicely and i have no problem but come at me and shame me then F YOU.
Thats very courteous sothe poor guy doesnt have to listen to that crap anymore.
Couldn't agree more.
My workplace requires a mask to enter and exit the campus and if you are not in your office you have to wear one. This is the only place I wear one. I refuse to wear one at this point outside the workplace. We do have our Karen’s as two of my employees were ratted out for sitting in a huge open space area 10 feet apart with no one around working, after having been given permission by the safety officer to do so.
I have started placing signage in my office and on the door that lets people know I am displeased with rat bastards. One is Mrs. Kravits from Bewitched that has her looking in a window and the caption Meet Karen’s Mom Gladys! The other one is from WWII propaganda of a German soldier helmet with the helmet and face in black and two eyes peering at you with the caption He’s Watching You!
My work requires them so I have one in my hand and when I see someone I hold it up to my face. I drop my hand when they pass. I do not ‘put it on’
Can someone explain to me why cases go down when masks are mandated? I understand the theoretical arguments why masks don’t work./p>
That’s pretty funny.
Yup. The sheep have been indoctrinated to wearing facial diapers and will continue to be conditioned wearing these disgusting things.
It’s kind of ridiculous. I don’t have to wear my mask outdoors. I don’t have to wear my mask at my desk. But I do have to wear my desk when walking the 30 feet from the front door to my desk, even though I can see before I even enter the office that I won’t get within 6 feet of anyone while I’m walking to my desk.
Found the Karen!
Baby pacifiers... ? Run a few ads on tv suggesting they ward off Covid and youll make a fortune. The unwashed love this crap.
They don't - at least not in Michigan. Health Dept. regs replaced Gov. Whitmer's orders about masks but nothing changed as far as mask wearing requirements. We're still spiking in covid cases but hospitalizations and deaths are way down.
Bottom line: mask regs have had no measurable effect in MI since the covid began.
Does a 1911 makes me Feel Safe?
No, just secure.
...Just the essentials....
That’s nowhere near proven, they were probably going down anyway. I recently bought some shirts in yellow, orange, and Mt. Dew yellow-green. I could just as easily say that wearing bright colors or eating more shrimp makes the covid cases go down.
