My niece is 18 and they use social media sites I’ve never even heard of, or if I have, I know very little about them. That is their main way of communicating

Don’t fret - I heard this talked about while I was pumping gas today. Thanks to internet saturation the era where real news can be suppressed is over and attempts to do so merely increases peoples’ interest, thus backfiring on the would-be suppressors. Get some, media fascists, get some!
