Hello Freepers. Mrs. R2 and I are traveling and I’m currently Freeping at you from Mena AR. I was trying to explain to my wife last night the significance of Mena in relation to the Clinton Family Crime Foundation activities from so many years ago. But I couldn’t remember all the details.
I seem to remember the Mena airport was a focal point for criminal activities but I couldn’t exactly recall the details. It’s been many years since the Clintons and Mena were infamous.

Really? Oh, I must check that out. Last week we were in Bartlesville Oklahoma. And we took a tour of the Price Tower.
The only skyscraper Frank Loyd Wright ever designed. And true to form, it is amazing. Not a square angle in the whole dang building.

Mena was the alleged port of entry for alleged drugs by alleged "CIA" importers. As I recall, the bodies of alleged whistle-blowers were found who were associated with allegations that involved Gov Clinton. We cannot get beyond "alleged" because DEA et al apparently chose to not bother with it.
It was on the second page of my notepad list of alleged Clinton misbehavior.
I was in college in the early 80’s. The History Department was offering a lunchtime lecture by a visiting professor from Costa Rica. There was free grub involved so I dropped in to hear what he had to say.
Basically he was railing against the drug trafficking that was wreaking havoc in his country, and accusing the CIA of being involved in running it. He specifically made reference to a drug running route between the airport in Mena, Arkansas and Nicaragua, which he accused of being a CIA front operation.
“Ahn I do not unerstan how a Democratic Gobernor like Beeeeeel Cleeeeenton wou get involve wit it”.
Years later, when stories about drug running from the Mena Airport hit the news, my blood ran cold. I had advance knowledge of it from a first-hand source.
The Clintons weaponized the US Government against the citizens like they did in Shiitewater Arkansas. They are the Ahab and Jezebel of America

OK I checked out that home you were talking about. It was built in 1979. It was actually designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. But it definitely has FLW’s architectural style.
As I recall Mena Airport in Arkansas was the location of the joint CIA operation (CIA head George H.W.Bush) and Arkansas Gov.Bill Clinton. It involved smuggling weapons to the Contras in exchange for payments in illicit drugs. Barry Seal, the legendary pilot flew many missions.
Roger Stone among other authors wrote a book about this.
Correct. The DEA chose not to get involved. Years later a reporter, I think her name was Sarah McClendon, asked Clinton about it. He actually claimed for the record that local authorities investigated this incident. And found nothing wrong.

It is actually a pretty good movie.
Cruise is an excellent actor. He plays a good ol boy.
The funniest part of the movie is when he gets arrested at the Mena airport by everybody: The DEA, FBI, ATF, etc.
They drag him down to Little Rock and then the woman AG gets a call from Governor Bill. Bill says let Barry go.
