Been here less than 10 min. I'd like to discuss defense canes with jagusafr.
How about a Caine Defense?

That was a more civilized age. Alas, while I am no lawyer, I believe a sword cane is considered a sword in usage, not a cane. It would therefore probably be illegal.
But I have other newer swords in canes that have a much broader style sword, as well as, just plain walking sticks that are capable of inflicting serious damage when wielded as a weapon. All in all, I have about 20 walking sticks/canes.

Thank you for your kind words about my Dad. Yesterday was his 10 year anniversary and he was indeed a very good man. Dad’s blackthorn was a real one and he used it as a walking stick. It came from Ireland, as did he. I had not thought about the cane in years but think about my Dad each and every day.

Why would you say that? The OP asked about them and I tried to help. I have no affiliation at all. This popped up on a google ad on my phone one day. I’ve been considering it and hadn’t closed the tab.
I want to find a walking staff that will convert to a spear with a quick connect attachment on a sheath knife.

I believe I have 10, maybe eleven canes. Prior to my surgeries I needed them. After the surgeries, kept using them because of a fall once that has caused my right foot to clutch up at a moment’s notice. Usually, while I’m placing it on the ground. LOL
No walking sticks, yet.
Definitely, no defense canes. So have to look into them!

Thanks for the link. Some of the national parks do not allow spears so I’m wanting to find a hiking staff with a quick connect female end on top and a sheath knife with a male connector on its hilt. It’s not a spear until it’s put together.
