Twitter is experiencing an outage that began in the early evening on Thursday, with some users reporting problems sending tweets and refreshing their timelines starting shortly after 5:30PM ET. We have seen no new tweets cross our timelines since then, though we were able to find a tweet sent as late as 5:40PM ET using Twitters search tool.
User-generated reports on Downdetector.com are skyrocketing as well, but theres no communication from the company itself as to the nature of the outrage. Twitters last major outage, occurring in February of this year, still allowed users to circumvent that outage by scheduling tweets. This does not appear to be a useable workaround right now.

Yes, read post 37.
Yeah, "some users". Based on an algorithm perhaps like maybe only conservatives?
and the outage will be blamed on Russia, because “Russia, Russia, Russia”. It’ll require a second investigation to determine who created the DOS.
Wish it were permanent.
They are purging ANYTHING that has to do with the Biden story..I cant tweet..I cant read my notifications, nothing

I’m prepared for that too.
I bet it is deliberate.
I don't do either...never have.
Just my opinion...
Of course it is..now twitter is back, bet everything is purged now
Twitter hacked ITSELF to stop the spread of the Hunter Biden and Steve Scully stories. Now they don’t have to censor at all.
Twitter coming back online now...dammit.
maybe Trump showing these guys who’s really in control?
The Daily Mail article on Twitter outage has really funny comments. 100% of them are anti-Twitter and probably 80% say Twitter has taken time to purge anti Biden stuff, clean out Hunter Biden criminal activity tweets.
Karma is a _____ Twitter!
My husband and I have been laughing over how overwrought Steve Lookner on ‘Agenda-Free TV’ has been over this outage during the past hour.
It’s fascinating how something utterly unimportant to many - even mostly outside of their consciousness - is so DARN important to so many others...
Do you remember the BBS prepper sites? Early 90’s, sittin’ in my holler in Tennessee I really thought I was on to something.
