I just passed my 20 mark here at Free Republic!
Wow. Kind of sneaks up you.
I joined during the 2000 election endless recount circus. And it looks like we’re in for another chaotic mess of an election this year.
Let’s see how many 20+ FR veterans I can get to respond!

I was visiting Lucianne’s site and a freeper recommended I try Freerepublic.com. It was a ‘tumultuous time’ in life. Jim Rob’s site has been literally a god-sent for me. The folks here have been very instrumental in my ‘return to the Lord’ twenty years ago. God bless this website and the fellow Christians in this family of Freepers.

Yes, THE Mollie. ;-) She is an LCMS Lutheran and the daughter of a fellow LCMS pastor, so that’s how I got to know her way back when. And I agree, she is awesome.

Class of 98 here reporting in. Lots of water has gone under the political bridge, but it’s been a great ride. The one change I’ve noticed is that the length of my posts seem to be getting longer as time goes by, lol.

The wit, the crazy and smarts around here. Its nice to see that I was not out of my mind about the Bush family as well. The night I found FR was a blessing (late 90’s). I told my wife that I couldn’t believe there are ppl talking like this on the internet, it felt like home.
