Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.

And, it is more properly known as “damping oil” within the industry as the cooling feature of mineral oil is unconsidered compared to it’s ability suppress arcs and sparks inside the xfmr.
Radiators are there to reduce heat stress on the internal connections and equipment.
I never tested for any “coolant properties” but always tested for kV-breakdown values.

The incident I mentioned was at a former employer’s facility. That transformer ruptured at the welded seams and spewed forth its boiling-hot oil. It’s a wonder that it did not catch fire!

Yep. You need that “cushion” of air (actually, Nitrogen under a slight pressure) to allow expansion and contraction. The Nitrogen under very light pressure is used to keep a slight positive pressure on the transformer so as to prevent drawing in moist air when the transformer cools under lighter loads. Moisture = corrosion.
You are correct regarding the fill line.
If I recall, and I was in the relay group so I’m more on the periphery (not the great turner of wrenches), they would refill to the “full” line, and then (at least on larger transformers) circulate the oil through the transformer for a day or so before even energizing it to work out any possible gas bubbles or moisture within. It’s a process, but you don’t just plop it down on the pad, hook up the wires, and fire it up.
