Legendary Punk Rocker John Lydon, who goes by “Johnny Rotten” and fronts the iconic band “The Sex Pistols” has made it clear he’s voting for Trump.
Rotten told BBC’s NewsDay he is “definitely” voting for Trump last month. Lydon is born in London but because a U.S. Citizen in 2013.
Explaining his reason, the lead singer said “He’s an individual thinker, I’ll give him that for a start. He’s not the most lovable fellow on God’s earth, but I cannot see the opposition as offering me anything by way of a solution.”
“Yes, of course I’m voting for Trump,” Lydon said with clarity later in the interview “It’s bad person or not. I don’t want a politician running this world anymore.”
The Sex Pistols are famous for their 1970s punk anthems “Anarchy in the U.K.” and “God Save the Queen.”
In 2018, Lydon was photographed wearing a shirt with the Trump slogan “Make America Great Again.”

The Punks including Johnny Rotten were always anti-Establishment. So is Trump and the entire movement behind him as was the Tea Party before that.
The Media, the Bureaucracy, Acadamia, Big Tech, Hollywood, Wall Street, the Uber Rich billionaires, and the Democrat Party are clearly the Establishment.
When I was a kid the “uncool” authoritarians were on the Right. Today they are all on the Left and the Left is far more authoritarian than the Right ever was. I point this out to every younger person I talk to about it.
No, I am the rebel here. I am the one who is against the Establishment, who is against conformity, who is for free expression and personal freedom, etc. Some of them are taken aback. They don’t know how to respond because it’s clearly true....but it’s their language.

Wow there are so many falsehoods in just that first sentence, not sure the rest of the article can be believed. The Sex Pistols ceased over 40 years ago, his band since then is Public Image Ltd. And he stopped being Johnny Rotten not long after the Pistols ended. He’s John Lydon.
I suppose “This is not a Love Song” to Biden’s ears! Hehehe.
On the topic of punkers & ex-punkers leaning right, Greg Gutfeld has uncovered a ton of these folks over the years, first on his “Red Eye” show & now in his podcasts. There are likely as many mainstream entertainers that feel this way, they’re just afraid to open up about it for fear of their careers. That’s part of what makes the punkers what they are, not giving a **** what their critics think!
