New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton has tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed on the reserve/COVID list on Saturday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.
Newton has been ruled out for the team's Week 4 game vs. the Chiefs, which has been postponed by the league until either Monday or Tuesday.
Rapoport adds that this is an isolated case in New England, as of right now. Patriots players were alerted this morning to come in and get a POC test because a player had tested positive. The immediate results show no more positives, according to Rapoport, but results can often taken days to manifest.
If I can still get paid, and not take hundreds of bone crushing hits, I’m in.
The Pats already had four or five players decide to sit the year out.
You have to feel sorry for those poor underpaid players. /sarc
For them that’s the fun part. Players say over and over they’d play Sunday for free, the pay is for the rest of the week.
What happened to Tom Brady?
He’s QB on Tampa By with Gronk.
The guy who played at Michigan way back?
NBA wishes they had canceled the season.

There’s a 100% chance I don’t give a rats ass.
Didn’t even bother with the NHL playoffs even though the Stars made the Finals.
We were die hard Pats. fans and at this point don’t even know when they’re play and don’t care.
The best part of this story is this article is the first time I have heard the name of the new Patriots QB.
Pro sports have lost me, forever hopefully.
This is my 3rd year of not watching or listening to nfl games. (I rarely watched baseball or hockey, anyway. Nba thugball and soccer never appealed to me)
My opponent this week in fantasy has Cam.
