Then another outlet picked it up saying, according to CNN’s reporting… Then someone else goes further and says according to the White House reported. The media makes things up all the time. Unless it is an official White House declaration I don’t believe anything.

I don't use a smartphone (just my Mac) -- but there are lots of astronomy apps out there for them. Here's an April, 2020 webpage that discusses 16 phone apps:
